my friend drove behind me in his shit honda on this hill that goes from my house to my school, at the bottom. w/e he had me at 35km/H on a normal skateboard, wonder what i can do wit the Jon Caften speedbard im getting next week...

Also, there is no way you got up to 55mph on this hill, let alone 40mph. Work on your tuck, get some DH equipment, and maybe one day you might get up there.
And bfj420, 65 is no where NEAR possible on that weak ass hill.
ciamonkey, you won't hit 80, ever. Kevin Reimer, one of the most appreciated and amazing downhill riders in the world holds the record for hitting 76.4mph. Another rider, Brent Dubendorff holds second place at 73.2mph. The only riders who i would assume could possibly pass this are Rick Kludy, and Kevin Reimer (assuming he beats his old record).
You would note that longboards are designed to not screw up on gravel, and if you do that it is attempted murder, so any self defense action, including beating you into the ground with the board, would be acceptable in my state.
uhhhhh? my longboard gives out on gravle just like my skateboard, its only smoother going over rocks cause the wheels are bigger, but its still scary to go over rock while turning, cause ur fucked if u dont know how to control it
