i feel that tsm should have picked rumble to counter shyv in top (he wasnt banned in any of the 3 games) to push to the tower so shyv cant counter jungle without losing creeps and tower damage.

M5 love to use champions without mana. What does running Mord mid do it takes pressure off the jungler to give blue buff. If you have knoll age of roughly when a team takes a buff you can time the buff for next time. Whether its the jungler that gets blue at the start or catching the mid leaving lane for it. But with Mord mid the jungler is free to take it at his leisure messing up the enemy timings of the blue. Also look at the successful picks by M5, shyvana no mana, lee sin no mana, Mord no

M5s team comps in the first and last game were just genius. In the first game, it was actually impossible for tsm to kill kog, and in the third, it was impossible for karthus to be useful. Their team comp in the second game would have worked out fine if they hadn't picked the worst possible laning matchups imaginable.

m5 provided some impressive gameplay... was really surprised how well ganja managed the bot lane against chaox, had to be the champ pick.

dunno if people realize this, but m5 run in last game 3 champs without mana, wondering if that is some part of the success...

I understand that one could feel you can handle their jungler. However you need to consider that he was allowed to play his best champ in all, but one game. Other junglers had to do a bit of champ changing and not get so settled, not having to use different ones.

In that final baron fight, I felt that TSM could have managed to steal baron. It seemed obvious they would not have won a fight, so I was suprised to see them not even attempt it. Everyone stopped focusing baron after Lee Sin jumped in. Could TSM have managed a baron steal? and would it have made any difference at all at that point?

@xenocide983 They were able to win one tournament. Though I do agree they are a very good team, they need to prove to be consistent before the title of best team in the world is given to them. Note that TSM has been a longstay in the high ELO tourneys and games, meaning a lot of people know their play style and favourite champs. m5's playstyle and favourite champs really aren't that well known. For now we just have to watch their play style.

@chronikoflife its kind of hard to control something that will naturally happen in this genre of games, the gold gain will be enormous and then the team ahead will just have more gold to buy their items, so the only way to stop that it to only have passive gold gain, but that would just stop making the game fun.

The problem with lol in tournaments is that the snowball effect is too strong. Once a team gets ahead they generally just stay ahead which caused 1 sided matches. The only matches I seen which wern't 1 sided was the 3rd play-off match with Dig and SK.

I wish snowballing wasn't so strong in lol as it makes the tournaments really hard to watch.

TSM could have ban Shyvana, but they proved in the second game that she really wasn't the problem. The problem was the support she was getting from top and mid lane as all three of them entered TSMs jungle. In the second game Regi was also able to get severly fed on Cass iwch snowballed into M5's first and only loss in the tournament. However in the third game, not only did Cass get banned, but M5 first picked Sona, who is undoubtedly one of the, if not the, strongest support in the game.

@MrPeppla Thing was Shyvana would push the lane like crazy, meaning he couldn't elave his lane, same thing happened in mid. And as I said the jungler, top and mid lane all went in together, and with two lanes being pushed TSM couldn't stop the invade, even if they knew it was going on.
