  • hi men one question.... the coupler work only whit the pedal roadie? this not work whit pedals of rock band????

  • Mine just all of a sudden stopped working today for no reason. I opened it up and nothing internally is damaged, all wires connected and everything. Changed the battery and still nothing...it just died. :/

  • i got mine, i mean the bass pedal works fine but the coupler sux ballz, it hardly works. but i got an extra bass pedal i guess. it works about 75% of the time. the rest it doesnt even register it at all

  • ok i have that and ive hooked it up correctly and the leds light up when i press them down but doesnt register with my ions or any drumset..........is it defective or something else???

  • i had been trying to search here at youtube for double bass. thanks for the help

  • wtf men, just buy a real drum kit

  • @carlos9402 people like me have real drum kit but in my case i like to play where i can be challenged and go for high scores testing my drum skills

  • u should of gotten real pedals and a kick trigger

  • my drums on rock band don't even have a symbol in freestyle mode. :l

  • Missing a drum solo at the end.

  • THe damn game can't even keep up with it.

  • Im talkin about the bass coupler btw

  • This thing sucks. Is there anyway to fix it??Or at least make it better?

  • Complicated and impractical/waste of money/etc.

  • @Lateralus03 yup roadie sucked at the time

  • maybe this video would have sold me better is the gentlemen making the video could use a double pedal in the first place, for he fails.

  • Hey destroyed. I was searchin for random roadie pedal mods and found this. btw it's zPhatBoyFreshz from xbl. I remember you telling me roadies suck nuts for double bass.

  • hey where did u get the skull heads for ur pads and do u think they would fit on ions?

  • How shit does that look...

  • i just bought the second pedal and copler and i have ions so iv got the same pedals but it doesnt work. idk whats wrong with it.

  • What's your problem?

Maybe we have the same problem :/

  • it registers on the coupler but pluged into the set it doesnt, neither do.

  • mine only works 1/3 times! and only if i keep the trigger down and slightly get it back up! go on my channel and watch my vid about it, you'll see ;)

  • what so bad about the roadie 2

  • whats the difference between the roadie u and the roadie pedal that comes with an ion drum rocker?

  • its the same thing

  • @DestroyedMetal nope the ion pedal comes with padding above the switch trigger. :-)

  • is it possible to repair it cuz mine has stop working and she doesn't work anymore

  • can it work with a kick trigger?

  • can you use this on guitar hero world tour?

  • thats useless why do you wanna spend an extra 50 bucks on a bass drum pedal

if it was for real drums or elctric drums mebbe yh but for god's sake its a GAME

  • well how about people that cant afford a drumset at least they can have some fun using double bass on the game

  • can someone plz plz plz plz plz tell me if this works for the "goodwoods" drum set?

  • i'm pretty sure it does. If the goodwood pads are plugged in directly to the rock band drum set. Double bass will still be enabled

  • the roadie coupler works for two rb2 stock pedals right?

  • its funny because for double bass you only need a 10$ headphone splitter not that 25$ roadie splitter shit

  • well if you knew a thing or two you would know headphone splitters dont allow double bass correctly since each pedals signal interferes with the other, meaning you cant be holding your left down and having the other one working, one pedal doesnt work if the other one is being triggered, super ass lame double bass setup, thats only for rb though, i think its possible in ghwt

  • thanks i didnt realize the difference

  • i have 2 roadie U Pedals and a coupler, but they don't really work :( when i press the right one, it doesnt work in about 6/10 times.. that also happens when my left foot isnt even on the left pedal.. it just happens when the coupler is in between the 2 pedals.. any one know how to fix this?

  • the same thing is happening to me right now.

i just got the thing today and it is messed up for me too

  • yep.. im not even using it now! im using the new roadie pedal (which is awesome) and thats it

  • Wow I have the same problem, did you fix it?

  • yes and no, if i were to use a rock band drum kit, i would use the official double bass coupler from gamestop. If i use my custom guitar hero interface, i use edrum kick pads with real pedals. I personally couldn't stand using the roadie coupler b/c of the ghost notes so i just threw it away.

  • u got a thumbs down y?

    fucking stupid u are correct

u only need to spend 25 bucks

  • ya i have that and it drops note like wet poopy. its terrible

  • wow, you couldnt be more wrong,

  • why am i wrong faggot

  • Im selling a REAL Roadie kick kit, Not just the pedal. Its comes with pedal knocker and pad that works w/both Rock Band and Guitar hero both sensor are in the pad so it hits when its supposed too. I have the other pedal hes demonstrating as well it broke on me in less than one day is not adjustable like mine and makes a loud metal to metal contact noise when it hits bottom plus the sesor goes off before ur foot reaches the bottom of the pedal. If your interested message me. Only Pedal youll need

  • My couplers battery case sucks it wont connect the battery so i have to hold it down to work

  • Quick question: When using both pedals as a double bass does it offset the notes when u play fast? Cuz i know that i tried makin my own double bass w/ just a headphones splitter an it offsetted the notes an i couldnt keep a streak goin during fast sections an I couldnt hold 1 pedal down an play the other. But i c that the lil converter box thing takes care of that.

  • whats wrong with the coupler? howcome its total garbage? because i was thinking of getting it lol

  • does it work with a world tour kit?

  • where do i get that rodie box thing for double bass

  • another thing (sorry to bombard u with questions) but whats better the twin rocker or the official pdp adapter

  • The official adapter is still the best, you just need AAA's. it has the most value since it comes w/ a stock pedal. You can still see my other video "Double Bass for Dummies" which should help out on all your questions.

  • if i used the roadie pedal, a roadie double bass coupler would it work with a regular rb1 stock pedal for double bass setup.

    please answer

  • it will work with any combination of pedals from rock band stock sets, i just wouldn't recommend the Roadie2 coupler.

  • why wouldnt u recomend the coupler, just curious cuz im getting a double bass soon. idk which though

  • i have that pedle it came with me electric drumset but thts just the hi hat the bass pedle is like an actual bass drum but no as big

  • I love the Roadie single pedal. I can play This Calling easily with one foot on expert. Is this coupler any good though?

  • drumheads got my attention

  • dude my friend and i can do what the roadie coupler does with a regular head phone splitter ur right its total garbage

  • Coupler sucks, it only gave me one cable so now I have to buy another one to use my two roadies. What the fuck is that bullshit?

  • It comes with the roadie pedal...and boo hoo 1 trip to lowes, get over it.

  • do you really recommend using this? and does the coupler come with a pedal?

  • if you watch the full video you'll get your answer, and the coupler is seperate, depending on the vendor.

  • Yes , No.

  • thats very true destroyed metal im just not gonna spend that much money for two foot pedals

  • Will this work if you have one roadie and one rock band 2 stock pedal with a 1/8" to 1/4" converter?

  • everyone who watched this you can get a wire splitter for less probably but nice vid and ive got skull pads

  • wire splitter only benefit you with a guitar hero drum brain, the rockband drumset's won't give you all of them(Holding one foot down and play with the other)

  • is there a speed limit to this splitter?

  • double bass couplers really don't have a speed limit, it'll respond as fast as you are.

  • well im using one that came with a rockband 2 stock pedal and if you hit the pedals too quickly it wont pick up the second hit, it gets pretty frustrating for songs with 2 quick hits because if i hit the second too fast it doesnt pick it up

  • why do people spend so much money on fuckin rock band peripherals, just use the ones that come with the game, dont spend 150 fuckin bucks and get a custom one that just looks cool, and 50 dollars for a bass pedal!!!,, thats just rediculous, i can get 5 blowjobs downtown for that much

  • even if that were true, i would be the one waking up in the morning without catching any STD lol(Especially from downtown)

  • dont GET THIS ITS A WASTE OF MONEY LOOK AT THAT ITS SO OUT OS SYNC WOW BIG INTERFERENCE

  • imgetting omega pedal w/ twin rocker for double bass with my i think roadie pedal that is in the ion drum kit

  • The roadie2 Coupler Sucks?

I have one and does not respond well, it can be repaired?

  • the coupler is all good, but two hi-hat (as that's what the roadie pedal primarily is) won't do much justice when you need speed, not to mention its makes ALOT of sound. Probably better going with two rock pedals.

  • Do you have to use Roadie Pedals?

  • nope, any pedals will work with the coupler, i just would recommend getting the official one from gamestop

  • also i keep going through the plastic ones like water so please if u got any god ideas let me kno

  • The problem with the double bass coupler is the battery power. The 9-volt battery provides very inconsistent power, is expensive, and dies SUPER quick! That's why I wired in a 9-volt DC power supply to mine. Costs $20 and really easy to do. I posted a how-to video in my account. Works way better and no stress about if your battery is dead or not!

  • I have to update this to everyone, please don't purchase the Roadie2 coupler. I've spoken with siglermusic about the problems and they can't seem to help. But i've recommended to everyone if you have the roadie pedal(s), don't purchase the Roadie Coupler or the Twin Rocker(For Omega Pedals), just purchase the Universal Pedal at Gamestop for $25.00. It Works perfect.

  • Why? whats wrong with it?

  • the Roadie Coupler responds 85-90%

  • I have an ION set and I use the ION (Roadie) pedal. I want to set up a double bass system, but I have two problems;

    1. I don't know which pedal I should buy for the second bass pedal

    2. To go with that problem, I don't know how I would set up a double bass system for the ION set.

    PLEASE help!!!

  • i will post a video as soon as i can on how to set up double bass in various ways. I will help out if you have any other questions.

  • thanks

  • i have that same setup but for a long time now i can only use one of my metal ones bcz if i hook both metal ones up and start going rly fast on the bass it dousnt pick up every note but w/e i take one of the metal ones of it works if u got any suggestions on how i can fix let me kno

  • I'm getting ready to make the double bass review for the issues of what is right and wrong. I'm having one uploading within the hour on my Guitar hero drum setup.

  • im probably going to try sodering my roadie just like i seen that kidd do on his vid did he ever make 1 showing how they worked

  • get either the rock pedal or destroyer, but i heard rock pedal is much better than the destroyer. and yeah, im not sure about the double bass part. you can probably find a tutorial somewhere on the internet on how to set it up

  • my other vid can help on that, i put it up recently

  • i have no idea how the destroyer is but i love my rock pedal thats for sure

  • My roadie pedal miss lot of hits.

    i tried every config possible.

stock pedal works perfect with coupler.

the roadie pedal misses hits with coupler.

but roadie pedal works perfectly alone plugged in the drumset directly.

the roadie pedal plugged in coupler do not work properly.

stock pedal plugged in coupler works properly (so it looks like the coupler is ok?)

the roadie pedal plugged directly on drumset works properly (so it is clear the pedal is ok, but dont work plugged in coupler).

  • does this work for guitar hero metallica expert+ mode

  • if using the rock band drum set, just remember that GH pedals use piezo sensors that respond when you hit the pedal, and RB pedals use triggering magnets

  • well i bought a rock band 2 pedal and it comes with a double bass adapter, so i have 2 good pedals now for double bass

  • is it a head phone splitter or one where you can hold down one pedal and use the other

  • the problem is that you dont know how to use double bass

  • yes just like everyone else it feels difficult in the beginning, but all it takes is practice.

  • can u only use rodie pedals with this

  • Do you know if I could use other bass pedals other than the ones that come with the coupler?

  • can i use this on the ION Kit?

  • Though it is hard to tell because of the lag between the live vid and game capture it appears that there is a speed limit for this coupler. By that I mean if you go too fast it starts dropping hits. Is this true?

  • its not that the coupler has a speed limit, its just when you notice i try to use the right pedal for the first time, when the left foot his held down, it didn't respond twice. I had Sigler Music replace it and this was the replacement being used in the video. Right now Gamestop has the best deal for the Double bass coupler.

  • K thx 4 ur help

  • I just acquired a Roadie2 coupler from sigler. It sometimes works other times it doesn't, and it's just the register overall and not because I have one foot held down. You mentioned that you had to have it replaced, what was the issue that you had with the coupler? Also is I am sure I didn't miss anything when connecting the 2 pedals with the coupler, I checked thoroughly 5 times, or would you think the coupler is broken and needs to be replaced. Cheers for the vid

  • it's still had problems with response from the coupler, not the pedals. The coupler was replaced because the wire it came with (1/4" mono to 1/8" stereo), can't be used with the coupler and register both pedals since its basically a headphone jack. I had to purchase a seperate cable that was 1/8" mono(just like the stock pedals) and the coupler worked, but had the response issues. If you wan't my opinion, Gamestop has for $25 a Double bass pedal package w/ an official d-bass coupler and pedal

  • Thanks for shedding light on the issue, I will look into the official d-bass coupler.

  • Does this work for rock band 1 & 2 ingame songs too?

  • yes

  • So for example, "This Calling" Will be lots easier to do? and like the Guitar Hero Metallica, which will come out soon, will it work for those songs too? :O

  • thats quite a bit of money, is there a cheaper way besides the head phone jack thing??

  • Gamestop actually announced a Universal Rock Band Pedal that comes with a small double bass attachment a few weeks ago. It runs a $25 for the Rock Band 2 stock pedal with a coupler for a secondary.

  • does this work for the ion drums to?

  • yes

  • i thought*

  • how do you get to freestyle mode? lol

  • go to training, drum trainer, then free style. Its intended for using an ipod/zune and learning rythm.

  • k thanks, do you have to download anything? and is it for 360?

  • It's for 360. It's in Rock Band 2.

  • k tyvm, well i though this wuz rockband but i dont have rockband 2 :(

  • Hey, I have the ION Drumkit, can i just use a standard headphone splitter, plug it into the pedal slot and then use two pedals? please help :D

  • Hey man, 1 question... dont you think that some times the pedals have less response using this?... i mean, when i use just one pedal with out the coupler is perfect but when i conect the hole thing together is less responsive,,, i am having this trouble... sorry about my english i am not american.

  • it depends, what drums set are you using (RB1 or RB2), and if all cables have mono outputs. When the coupler came in the mail it had an 1/8" stereo jack for plugging into the drumset and i wasn't able to use it.

  • Ok, i am using the ion drum rocker, and i also recive an 1/8" stereo jack cable in the mail, but the ion use 1/4". Then I use it this way:

First Cable 1/4" mono to 1/8" stereo for left pedal to the coupler

Secon Cable 1/4" mono to 1/8" mono for the right pedal to the coupler

And the ion cable 1/4" mono to 1/4 mono from the ion to de coupler.

I just have 2 cable inthe kit cause i allready have one roadie pedal when i bought the kit.

  • will the roadie coupler work with the regular rock band stock pedals if some1 could reply it would be much appreciated

  • of course dude, works with all pedals with that mono jack. so the rock band stock pedals will work.

  • this will work with an omega pedal and a roadie pedal to an ion kit won't it? I've had an omega pedal for a while, then bought an Ion kit and a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter and my roadie pedal has just been a paperweight ever since it came out of the box lol. Sorry if it's a dumb question, as I see no reason why it wouldn't work, but I just want to make sure before I order one of these.

  • yes i believe it will, if you want try using a headphone splitter, just to see if you can use one at a time, like in free mode. If it works, then so should the Coupler. If i find a bass pad for rockband 2 set i'll swap to the dual Omega/Destroyer pedals.

  • Very nice! I might have to get one for my ion, thanks a lot for the response because I'm using a headphone splitter with a destroyer pedal for my right foot, and a roadie for my left

  • why didnt you say anything?

  • Nice
