The vocals were by Sam and Dave. The instrumentation was by Booker T. and the MG's. The horns by Mar-Keys Horns. Issac Hayes and Dave Porter wrote the song. They were in Booker T. and the MG's. But Same and Dave got the credit and made it into a hit. The record lable is Stax/Atlantic. The song was recorded in 1967
