  • fucking music but robot is great !!

  • I have the GN-U Hagane Metallic version, but I don't have the Popy version. I always wanted the Popy version.

  • cool i have the metal dangard ace. this one is cool aswell

  • pics? video of transforming from plane to robot?

  • i remember the first time i saw a dangard ace i was five in 1980! it was not this great but i do remember how much my brother and i loved watching it on channel 25! he now owns one today since it was his favorite and also passed one on to me which i am restoring to is full glory being an artist you can imagine how good it must look. this particualr figure is absolutely perfect for its age and the music is awesome to me reminds me of christmas morning!

  • I haev 3 of them....Sorry to say that..mazing video..BUT you should put the little ship instead of the helmet,in front of the spaceship mode.

  • Agreed :) I work off of one cut....and wish I could do a retake ;9

  • this toy is amazing but very rare especially to find something like this well preserved! there's actually a new version the GNU Yamato danguard ace. been itching to get it but i think its not out yet here in the U.S.

  • I want this piece so bad! But it's too much for my pocket! =(

  • BEFORE ANY "Transformers" it was transforming and fighting battles in our garden and defeating all foes..UNBEATABLE... still is... Im thinking of getting a tattoo of it on my arm ^-^.

  • we never had anything like it on TV. It was a Mystery toy, but it was my ALL TIME favorite toy...and virtually indestructible... i flew it around Mangerie Auckland New Zealand for years.. It is my talisman ..full of the pure power of imaginative enjoyment of a thousand childhood fantasies.. as real as any reality , my Ultima Thule Deus Ex Machina...DANGUARD ACE !! WOO HAAA!! Thanks you for presenting it in all its majesty! ^-^

  • I got this toy from my Dad in New Zealand when he returned from a Japan trip.I guess when it came out..76?,, was it before Star Wars?..I was picked up after school and handed it in the back seat.. no wrapping.. point blank prezzie..STUNNED..IN SHOCK,, SO COlourful.. ROYAL... i had never seen anything like it ..and didn't see anything similar for MANY years,

  • Glad you have enjoyed the video :)

  • This is one of my favorite RJ videos yet. In addition to the great rotational shots and close ups of the box and istructions, I think the music is also one of the key reasons I like it so much. The classical music adds a greater feeling of sophistication and class that these vintage pieces have, and newer pieces will never be able to truly duplicate that.

Kudos on the excellent vid, Ed. I'd give two thumbs up, but it only let's me click it once. :-P

  • very nice chogokin

  • The music is Bach's Air. I think it is a "music box" effect on an electronic piano. Goofy, but free :)
