how did you control your speed going down the hill (i don't know much about the sport, though im pretty sure you didn't have any breaks)

well, with longboard, you can see how he is going like kinda zigzaggin, and that helps slow down the board and keep it at a moderate speed. When you are going REALLY fast, it helps to slide (when the wheels go the way they don't roll) so yeah hope that helped

That is a freeboard not a typical longboard with 4 wheels. It has a 3rd wheel on the truck (totaling 6 wheels on the board) directly in the middle allowing the rider to slide the board. Google "freeboard" and you can see their website. Really cool idea.
