@dashwood123 you cannot put a rifle scope on an air rifle. unless the rifle is co2 powered or pneumatic the "kick" on an air rifle is the exact opposite of a rifle so it kicks it forward instead of backward like a rifle. this means that the scope will not withstand the jolt of the spring in the rifle and destroy the scope if the scope is not rated for air rifles.
i just bought a benjamin trail NP XL .635 caliber air rifle, comes with a 3-9 scope, i made some headshots to pidgeons at 30 yards, used cheap gamo magnum .25 pellets and gamo platinum PBA which are super nice too, u should try it

you lot saying BUY LEUPOLD!! you know FUCK ALL leupold are terrible, their binocs and scopes fall apart so easily and dont hold zero even with a 308 mag round PIECE OF SHIT
I second the S&B, I had a leupold mark 4 8.5x25 Ill TMR reticle and the S&B hands down is the winner in all categories, less mag in lower setting and higher in highest setting 5x25x56, leupold needs to take notes..
What a piece of optical wank. try a Schmidt Bender or Swarovski or even a Ziess. in a league of their own. every time i go to my Firearms dealer i have a little peak through these......
I have been shooting NIkon scopes for years and feel that they are the best scopes on the market for the money. I have never had any problems. They are clear and very high quality in my opinion.
they are shock proof, not amazing quality, but very good for the money, and the ret is awesome , its so so easy to use, air rifle , rimfire or centerfire.. not comparable to nikon optics, but for the money and the free software you download that works with it , its worth a punt, i have a few now . field use only though as i dont want to shell out on a bit of top quality glass to get it wrecked by chucking it in and out the 4x4
ebay has these scopes for about $40....i have one for my ruger 10 22 and it works amazing...luv it

Hawk Sport Optic, couldn't be less interested with this Leupold wannabe. We're surprised you're advocating it!

Cheap and nasty, wont hold zero for more than a few shots, and thats with an air rifle.

@agabla true, true,
I had a scope put on my gamo, never worked right.
I would sight it in today, shot fine, the very next day it would be off zero by at leas 2 inches either left or right or up or down.

Hmmmm, let me guess, made in CHINA!?!? Have fun with your hawke. You could do as good with a Tasco.

Extremely popular in Europe? Who cares. The Europeans can barely own any kind of gun. Buy a Leupold if you want a real scope.

i agree Leupold are the best scopes on the market

In europe, air guns are quite popular :).
Not because we're pussies, but because you can buy them legally when you're 18+
And air guns don't kill scopes, so a cheap ass scope is good enough.
And don't you think air guns are weak, some can shoot 1 inch groups at 100 yards. In their own backyard, without neighbours hearing it... :)
