  • more pedal, please!!!

  • If you notice to the right of the screen you can see the hammers moving. Above them are the dampers which allow the strings to vibrate freely when the key and/or pedal is depressed. Clearly the pedal is used constantly. I do not know how it can be used more without obfuscating the harmonic value of the piece. Perhaps the size of the room contributes to lack of resonance which you may be addressing.

  • yes...

the lack of resonance, in my point of view, takes away a big part of the dramatic character of the piece.

  • acelerando e desacelerando...

    tirando isso ta legal :)

  • I would have given both hands to play the piano....

  • love it...listened to it a billion times

  • Thanks for your kind words. Hope you keep listening to it!

  • Dark and In-your-face. Haha, Its very emotional: a work of art really. Fancy fingerwork.

  • Yes! It really grabs you by the throat! It is subtitled as an hommage to Scriabin. And the expression mark is Torturado! Very happy that you enjoy Guarnieri.

  • "torturado" came of the brazillinan portuguese and means tortured, very strange ins't it? 8D
