The voice of a woman cop can be heard egging the male officer on, " show him, etc." the tragedy comes because after the man is face down on the pavement after the scuffle, the cop finished him off with a shot in the back of the head. The cop basically lost it, and executed the guy.
The cops fled the scene and denied it happened until the video surfaced.The cops who were charged had 14 guards with shotguns and automatics posted at their house 24-7.
I have since left, and dont know what has happened.... this sort of thing happens many times a year, but this was the first caught on tape and youtubed.

The policeman was convicted yesterday of first degree murder. The trials of the other two officers are still pending. This was brutality on every citizen's heart but clearly this murderer was not fit to represent the law. What Caceres did was say "Dale" which is merely to "Come on" to the officer when he was not letting the motorcade continue its course. The motorist did nothing wrong.
This was in August of 2007, We are already in February 2008 and the Murderer has not been convicted yet. I am appalled by this murder. Let there be no doubt the abuse began well before the murder. We are waiting for justice!!!!
Puerto Rican officials have charged the 14 year veteran officer with 1st degree murder. He will be sentenced to life in prison w/o the possibility of parole. In 1999 he was charged with domestic battery. A few years later he was charged with using extreme force after a traffic stop. What the motorist did was wrong to the police, but NEVER to the point in where you kill someone. Justice has been served.
It looks like the man was grabbing at the officer's weapon. It is possible that the man was able to fire the officer's weapon into the officers leg while he was struggling to obtain it.
Then it appears the officer drew his weapon and shot the man.
This is a case of Police brutality, as it happens unfortunately all over the world, but this one happened in PUerto Rico. The Policemen were all suspended without pay and are undergoing trial for murder. Thank God they will get jail time this abusive Policemen.

Similarly, he didn't obey the laws the cops were trying to enforce, so we shouldn't be blaming the cops so hard. Once the cops began to push on to him, he should have stopped resisting arrest. The cops fled the scene and denied it happened until the video surfaced.The cops who were charged had 14 guards with shotguns and automatics posted at their house 24-7.
I have since left, and dont know what has happened.... this sort of thing happens many times a year, but this was the first caught on tape and youtubed.

The policeman was convicted yesterday of first degree murder. The trials of the other two officers are still pending. This was brutality on every citizen's heart but clearly this murderer was not fit to represent the law. What Caceres did was say "Dale" which is merely to "Come on" to the officer when he was not letting the motorcade continue its course. The motorist did nothing wrong.

Puerto Rican officials have charged the 14 year veteran officer with 1st degree murder. He will be sentenced to life in prison w/o the possibility of parole. In 1999 he was charged with domestic battery. A few years later he was charged with using extreme force after a traffic stop. What the motorist did was wrong to the police, but NEVER to the point in where you kill someone. Justice has been served.

Indeed my friend, this was a sweet 16th party and the police came and asked the people to move their cars and the guy simply ask them why? and the Policeman just went after this defenceless unarmed man and you can see the rest. That is exactly what happened.. What a shame. This was a law abidding citizen and very much loved by everyone, and his family was there, what a shame they had to witness him get murdered.

It was an accident, the gun went off... He did not have to be executed like that. The people were yelling at the cops "ABUSERS!" "2 can't handle 1??" After this was over, the police officer supposedly went home and hid.. he knew he was wrong. He later turned himself in!!!! If you did nothing wrong, why hide??

los policias de puerto rico la mayoria son unos perros sucios que lo que sirven es para fabricar cargos jodios bastardos los odio a todos. mi hermano just get 161 years por un jodio caso fabricado por que las evidencias no eran suficiente pero el cabron del juez comoquiera lo centencio lo que son son unos violadores de derechos humanos que hacen con las personas lo que lesda la la maldita gana dibieran sacar toda la jente buena y esplotar la isla haci acaban con todas esas cucarachas............
