  • Poetry in Motion!!!

  • @deadlyshoelace he was 17

  • @deadlyshoelace Kobe was 17 when he entered the NBA. He is the youngest player ever to be in an All-Star game

  • @deadlyshoelace actually he was 17 lol just saying .

  • MJ has 6 rings while kobe got 4

  • @darrenabrigo and robert horry has 7 wtf is your point?

  • @cloudzero1

robert horry was never the #1 or #2 on the team, shit, he wasnt maybe the number 5 guy.. so shut ure face.

  • who would be the better team... the lakers with kobe or the lakers with lebron?

  • @melbies lebron..but kobe is better then lebron

  • @Jrell15 think about what you just said..... lebron is better

  • @melbies think about wat u just said.. "the better team..."now that i think about it KOBE IS the better fit with the lakers.. idont see lebron working in the triangle offense.

  • AT 21 Kobe was taking over games in the NBA FINALS when SHAQ fouled out of the game

  • they should put this court on 2k11

  • @DUNKMAN232 Yeahh i agree they should

  • @DUNKMAN232 yea but the closest one to this is the jordan team on nba 2k10 but this shuld be on 2k11

  • @DUNKMAN232 I know right lol

  • he keeps the ball so low when hes dribbling. i learn so many things by watching the pros, especially kobe.

  • fuk kobe

  • el de negro es un gran defensor, si señor, jajajajajajajaja

  • Mj was half the basketball bible, now kobe iz finishing it!

  • @816barnes FAIL!! Jordan wrote it... With Chamberlain Shaq Drexler Wilkins Scottie Kukoc Rodman Malon and so on Kobe is not even close
  • @816barnes

If there was a definition of a basketball player, it would be solely MJ.

  • @816barnes thats funny. cuz kobe says 90% of what he learned is from mj. so shut the fuck up

  • @816barnes mj is old testaments and kobe is new

  • @816barnes He's writing the new testament :)

  • @816barnes MJ was the Old Testament Kobe is the New

  • @816barnes lol

  • When I say 'great' I mean consistently great, automatic every night. Kobe was inconsistent for his first 3-4 years in the league, and was not trusted to be the automatic 'go-to' guy until he improved his jump shot range, ball handling and his defense. It all came together for Kobe during that third championship season.

  • Even after the Lakers couldnt get a ring with Payton, Malone & Shaq, Kobe had a team as godo as Lebrons and couldnt take them as deep as Lebron has taken the Cavs in the playoffs. Kobe still makes a lot of mistakes. Like the last game, in the first 4 possessions, Kobe had 2 turnovers & missed 2 shots. When Kobe's great, he is amazing, but Kobe still makes mistakes in games like his head isnt in the game the whole time.

  • Wow you're a fucking idiot. Lebron is in the fucking EAST what dont you understand? In the EAST you play easier teams more often so your record is going to be inflated. And the only reason the Lakers didn't win that year is because the Big Aristotle wouldn't give up the fucking reins! He wanted to be the number one player even when it was obvious Kobe had surpassed him. Why do you think they got rid of shaq? They were so pissed at him for causing problems when they should have easily won.

  • wtf video editer sucks, same thing as the last video he puts up two hands then second shot he only has one hand blcoking him so fakeeeeeeeee

  • no he didnt.show me proof

  • he did not have a 100 point game

  • no, but its not MJ

  • Jordan was 21 (1984) and Kobe was only decent at 21 with 3 years in the NBA. He didn't become 'great' until his third ring with Shaq at almost 24. But hey, better late than never.

  • Jordan was amazing from year one, unlike Kobe who wasn't even a decent ball player until his third year in the league.

  • jordan had 3 years of college to mature.he was 21 when he entered the league and the bone fide star and savior of that team so he got the ball whenever he wanted.kobe was a skinny 17 year old kid who had shaq in his team.

  • Kids need to get educated, Jordan has been doing this for years at a way higher efficiency level

    watch?v=WdS_J97y7K8&feature=fvsr

^just to give you an example go to 2:40 in that vid, theres plenty more of this move in the vid, and you'll really see how it should ACTUALLY BE done

  • Look at the Kobe fans who gave me thumbs down for my comment without telling me why, thats how stupid they are

I never said anything bad about Kobe u idiots

  • It's a pre-fadeaway postup move that Jordan absolutely mastered, he calls it the "windshield wiper"..

and for anyone who's delusional and actually thinks Kobe has a better fadeaway, you guys really need to watch the fadeaways MJ did after his 2nd retirement....NO ONE can ever match it, it had to be the most effective/efficient move in basketball history (alongside with skyhook)

  • *correction: Fadeaways MJ did after his 1st retirement with the bulls

  • seriously no one could stop it cause he always knew witch way to turn and it was so quick and on point once he backed you down it was gona be an auotamatic point

  • you are talking about MJ right? if so then ur correct

  • you mean, 2 points. Automatic 2 points ;)

  • the only thing i dont understand is why he wasnt doing it when he was young becus i do that type of stuff all the time in highschool games and people sid he started doing it becuz he didnt have his young athleticism nemore to get to the whole as much

  • who wasn't doing it young?

well MJ always had a fadeaway even when he first entered the league, it was never his go-to move in his earlier years, it was more like a situational thing, and yea he did'nt do it as much in his earlier years because his athleticism allowed him to drive in the paint easier, and then in his later years he had to rely on his jumpshots, and fadeaway was the best way for him to back up his defender and create space for himself

  • he doesnt even defend..

  • please if anyone finds the music for this please tell me

iv been looking for a while now

  • It's Bach's prelude in C minor

  • BWV 999 I think.

  • I have gained alot of respect for Kobe he's up there with the best who's ever played and this move is great I use it sometimes if you sale it the defender will BUY it!

  • I like KB, but I feel that he's a bit inefficient with how many fakes and jabs he makes to get off a shot. Jordan never need to do soo many moves to get enough space to make his shot. Like in this video, when kobe drives left and has the guy beat all he needed to do was spin-away-fade-away and drop a rainbow...

  • They are making a commercial, and they aren't really playing 1on1.

  • coz kobe has to face zone defense which draws a lot of defenders while jordan faces fewer. jab steps may help him 'fake' the help defense back to kobe's teammates so kobe could get space for a shot...my opinion only..

  • however your opinion is correct. in kobe's early days before defenses became really strong he could just drive through like jordan. as time moved on he also was not gettin calls when he would get creamed on drives. hes had to adjust to alot, and hes done a masterful job....and when everyone thinks hes done evolving hell do it again

  • beautiful music. that court is sick. I definitely need to learn that move.

  • that basketball court is beautiful. ure right

  • Have you seen a more beautiful court??

  • why is this called fake?

  • "Fake" as in faking to pivot right to the jumper but instead he pivots to the left

  • maybe he didn't buy it because he knew it was coming 0_o?

  • that didnt faked anyone...

  • Awesome video. I'm a bit of a KB hater, but I have to give him credit where credit is due. He has matured into a great player and a good leader, BUT will always be inferior to Michael Jordan. I always label KB as a poor man's Jordan. YT search for clips of MJ's turn around jumper, it's a thing of beauty. He had to use that shot because in his early yrs in the league defensive players were serious, unlike the puff cake rules that prevent players from locking down the D today. wiki da jordan rules

  • I agree! In Michael Jordan's era, the defense was alot tougher than today's defense Kobe Bryant faces. Michael was and will always be the best.

  • well said, not hating on Kobe, he is the best in the league right now, but will never come close to Jordans legacy

  • does anybody know this song they are playing???

  • How is this fake?

jjust ask poor dumb shits like J.R. Smith in the 08-09 Western Conference Finals. He did that almost every drive.

  • d wades pull j is fine

  • this song was in city of god? anyone know get at me

  • beautiful video but bad situation cause the guy didnt go for the fake

  • that defender is LAUGHING 0:44

    LOL

  • the court looks amazing.

  • true that. its black mamba's court.

  • el mejor de la nba

  • MJ schooled him on that at the 98 All-Star game 4 times in the post.

KB: "Shieeet, I've never seen that, that was cool... I'm gonna learn that"

  • yea in 1998

kobe was no were near his prime!

dis guy worked hard to get were he is now!!

  • haha I know...MJ was the master at that...fadeway turn around jump shot..since '84 he's been doing it...people need to do some research..hehe

  • But let's not forget that Kobe the then youngest player ever in an all-star game put on quite a show in his own right. Kobe wasn't showing us rawness and creativity whereas Jordan was showing us mastery. Now Kobe's game is less flash and it's more fundamentally sound.Lebron and Wade have all the flashiness now but they have to master certain moves like the fadeaway and get better pull-up jumpers then maybe they can be on the level of Kobe and Mike!

  • He actually pissed off his teammates for playing for himself and outside of the 'team' although he made good plays. Oddly, Karl Malone was one of the pissed off ones.

That's actually a very fair and realistic statement (not like a KB cheerleader). If more were stated that way, there'd be far less 'KB bashing'.

Just a note, its amazing how fundamentally improved KB got after a VERY fundamentally sound Gasol arrived.

  • 0:40 look at his mouth hahahaha

  • 1) i love how the Defender doesn't jump and 2) talk about nice court yeah?

  • well in that case he would have fouled kobe if he had jumped

  • you should rarely jump when your gaurding a perimeter player. you can easily fall for a fake or allow the shooter to draw contact

  • how did he do that? O.O

    the ball CURLES!

  • its just da camera angle

  • momentum he moves to the right

the ball moves to the right as it travels to the basket

  • the guy whos blocking him looked like mo williams

  • put this in america shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • still a tough frickin shot

  • a shot of perfection by the black mamba

  • no learned skills in that commercial again

  • nicest court ever

  • ok mj did so your not allowed to use it ? wtf morons

  • ive watched this video and now i use it in our games thanx kobe

  • lol kobes just the shit of the nba. he makes those everygame 2!!

    GO LAKERS!!!

  • Here comes all the MJ rooster suckers thinking he invented everything basketball again. Silly kids.

  • anybody know the name of this song

  • This stuff is amazing.

for all those trying to discredit kobe by saying it's jordan's move, get a fucking life. in case you didn't notice, michael jordan doesn't play anymore.

  • Or you could go with the argument that it's a good move and theres no reason not to copy it.

  • the court is great

  • MJ's

  • This move is damn effective.

when u back the defender it gives you space , when you do a lil fake , the defender's reaction slows down, and when you finally do a fadeaway jumper...cmon no1 can block that unless he can jump damn high and damn fast and even if he did , u can fake him.

  • whats this song called?

  • Wow, his isn't anyone's move, if it is then the pass is Naismith's move and no one else can claim it.

  • that is an excellent point

  • Naismith doesn't even move..

  • Much respect but did he do a little up and down on his pumpfake?

  • kg does it low post kobe does it high post. Its not really kgs move.

  • JayT98 said Jordan "perfected" the move not came up with it...

  • he FIRSTLY said..."Its fake because its Jordan's move"...am i wrong?

  • your wrong kobe did it jordan dosnt do that

  • MJ did do that But its not anyones move its just somethin 2 put in your arssenial

  • agree, kobe use it more often, he start his move facing the basket more

  • i hate MJ nut hugger they act like he invented basketball

  • you all think kobe is copyng this but look for penny... mcrady hill clyde the moves exist to be used.

  • man i would hate to guard kobe its like a nightmare you cant wake up from

  • thats a weird basketball

  • That's the euroleague ball

  • this is one of the jordan moves that earl monroe used lol

  • more like earl moves jordan adapted...earl did the spin move....and jordan popularized is own variation the double piot which kobe just used.....last how the hell can earl who came before you use "jordan's" ,who can in the league like 11 years after him, move...think about that
