Bob Mitchell

Mr. Bob Mitchell was a special person who brought great joy to many people throughout his long and illustrious career. It has been my pleasure to have known him since the late 1960's to the present. The last time that I saw him was at my Mom's home on March 20, 2009. My nephew, Christopher, and I picked him up and took him home. At the time, he was a bit shaky of foot but when he sat at the organ, he forgot about the frailties of age that time wrought and created magical music moments

He passed away today. My thoughts are with him. I was lucky to see him live once. He was an inspiration for all of us.

Bob's one of my oldest (very oldest, haha!) friends. He is an absolute joy. 97 years old and still going.

He is so cute! I go for the movie, but also to hear Bob play. I can't help but smile throughout the show. Hooray for Buster Keaton and Bob Mitchell! What a show!
