I personally hate that announcer... hope theres a way to turn him off. I wouldent care that much if you couldent I would just rahter play without a announcer.
I actually like the design of the stage. Its different and I can see the characters just fine. Also keep in mind that it is camera quality. I dun think it hurts to have some different stages (this actually brought to mind the protector (Tom-Yum-Goong) scene where they fight in the burning Buhddist Temple)
Personally, I find the stage way too dark and boring. There's nothing interesting to look at in the background and it makes the action hard to see. I won't be playing on this stage when I get the game. There's much more brighter and more fun stages to play on.

Actually I don't think the announcer is that bad, he isn't too exagerated, nor too unexcited.
