I find that detect life works well to. Hunter's Sight spell lets you detect life through 4 layers I think, as well as night eye for 90 secs.

@wantapie you need to wait in the imperial city plaza for about 6 hrs or so better make it 24 hrs just to be safe :) when u have finshed waiting he will eventually come

@XxROBERTSONx when u have finished All of the theives guild quests and become the gray fox in the imperial waterfront there is like tis door u go through it and go through the basmet then go upstairs then again upstairs then go through the other door and then u come t ur headquatures u then can see savillas stone on a dest or shelf or somethin

I wore the dark brotherhood armor, and all the enchanted items they gave me so I got through and only killed 2 monks. one because he found me and the other because felt like it lol

heres some things you shoulda thought of

- wear light armor / clothing (i prefer black hand robe + hood)

- invisibility / chameleon spell

this is easy for me since i have black hand robe, illusion 100 and sneak 100

Yeah, I'm playing on my PS3 so it's a bit more difficult to get money, not really difficult but harder to get it than on the PC. I still haven't found out the secret in that house in Skingrad. I'll get it some day but yeah, I needed a place to store my things at the beginning so I had to buy the cheapest house which was the shack in Imperial City Waterfront.

I just went to my house in the Imperial City as it did say that you should go to the Imperial City and walk around until the messenger comes to you. I went to sleep, leveled up and the messenger came. Anyway, I have master Sneak skill so I'm good on walking right on top of them and they won't know.

by the way the only house in the imperial city is the poor waterfront place lol buy rosethorn like i did in skinrad u get money because of a secret treasure and u can get a servent

the easiest way to get the messenger after you've fenced is just sleep in one of your houses cuz there aren't folks and so it's a tottally save place for the messenger

im gunna post this on alot of thieves guild quests... DUPE YOU INVISIBILITY POTIONS WHENEVER IT COMES OFF USE ANOTHER RIGHT AWAY, I DID EVERY SINGLE THIEVES GULD QUEST THAT WAY AND ONLY GOT CAUGHT TWICE, and use one then steal anything and it will come off but u won't get caught unless ur not even supposed 2 be there

ok i did this quest and gave the savillia's to the Gray Fox he told me to wait for him and i waited in the imperial city cause the journal told me it would take a bout 24 hours so i wait there. 24 hours 5 times i did it still no messanger wat is wrong and after the quest and the 24 hours 5 times he still in Helvias Cecila's house in bruma wat is wrong.

yea it can be hard to find the messenger but its possible you just have to be in the write place. go to the messengers house and wait. the messenger is probably methendrill of what ever her name is.

from level 1 - 25 you need 40 - 50 lockpicks for one hard door (5 locks) just pick the first one, and then keep using "auto picklock (something like that)"

They're random. They could be leveled (powerful) monsters or just weak monsters you find in dungeons. While some monsters are hand-placed into the environment, these two monsters are spawned from a list of possible monsters.
