@Roo520 some of them escaped (the scientists who were with barney) some died (gina & collete too??? I'm not sure well you find a corpse) and one is still imprisoned (Adrian I think he's some sort of back up plan that's why the G-Man kept him instead of letting him die like his comrades against his employers wishes)

A lot of people are thinking Ep3 will come out sometime in October or after. There really is no official word from Valve.

I'm thinking they will shed some light on Ep3 about a month before it comes out. They don't want to spoil ANYTHING.
