I think that having Legion as a cold,calculating,terrifyingly competent foe with a thorough understanding of psychological warfare and a large role in the progression of the game would be awesome.The experience might have been improved if the Geth originally sent Legion to hunt Shepard,and once the Collectors merit enough attention to the Geth,they instruct Legion to assist Shepard to further mutual goals.

the funny thing is i remember watching all of the dev diaries but when i popped in mass effect 2 for the first time i was still shocked about the story and the collectors. It was like all of this info was erased from my memory...weird i need to pay more attention lol

Interesting, they made Legion out to be some kind of inter-galactic stalker, when really you only directly encounter him, then (potentially) take him with you. Only then is his creepiness truly revealed.

Wow, I WISH Legion was like that! Don't get me wrong, he's awesome as he is in the game, but if he was stalking you the entire time, that would have made him so creepy, and an antagonist that you'd have to avoid/fight from time to time until it's revealed that he's a good guy.

1st off this video is so misleading he doesn't hunt you @ all. legion is a party member who joins you out of the sake he believes that the geth shudnt follow the reapers as gods. secondly the collectors aren't anywhere near the hardest enemies to breach even in insane or hardcore a well pleaced massive warp and incendiary ammo will cook him like nothing. his only annoying attack is that doubl boosted biotic sphere that can knock you out of cover

"turns this normal guy and suddenly hes the most dangerous guy on the battlefield" Thats a over exaggeration, transformation takes a second most of the time hes dead befor he even completes the transformation. The flying husk machine is the only real threat out of all the NPC's in the game hell there harder then the final boss. Making overall enemy design and balance a huge disapointment. The game in general is more hype then bite, ME1 had a better sellection of equipment / better enemy design.

If you can't stand plot or ling winded people, you can't play this game. If you like to mindlessly shoot things, get L4D2 or Fallout. but, if you're the kind that like to get involved in a game, find out WHY people are doing that, and HOW it happened, then by all means. At least give it a try. Personally, I'll tell you that this is my all-time favorite game, and before that it was Psychonauts. Also, @JamOneSeven: Keepers are thought to be slaves of the Reapers, the first true sentient race

If you didn't like the dialogue, it's not for you, in fact most of bioware's games aren't. Bioware makes involving plotlines with a majority of the game time being dialogue, and that's why Bioware is the best at what they do

You may as well just go down to your local game store and pick it up second hand for dead cheap. I've seen copies of ME1 going for £7.50 and £10 in some stores. It's cheaper than On Demand, that's a rip-off

If you don't mind going out, you can probably find it cheaper used. 20$ is still a steal though.

I'm playing through it again after not having played it since launch and man, I missed a hell of a lot of side missions and stuff the first time though. I didn't leave the Citadel once I got there until about 12 hours into the game and didn't do any main mission quests until about 25 hours in. >.>

Just doing side missions and exploring the planets.

They were never completely destroyed, it wasn't the whole of the geth fleet that attacked the citadel, they were counting on Sovereign being able to open the relay, the accompanying fleet was a decoy at best
