At 0:34, is that supposed to be the Knux from Scourge's world? I like your idea of him a lot, but we've actually seen him in the comic. He (strangely) isn't evil, just more of a pacifist, so he's the opposite of knuckles because he tries to never fight (instead of being a hot-head).

The difference is that Scourge is his evil twin from another dimension. Manic is Sonic's brother in another dimension, where Sonic Underground took place. Scourge is, well...evil. He is the opposite of Sonic: a bully who uses band-aid solutions. He also happens to be a jerk who thinks he's cool. I don't know much about Manic other than that he is a drummer.
