  • Everyone says that this is the worst of the Indiana Jones movies, but to me the worst was Temple of Doom because the woman and the Chinese kid were annoying characters and sidekicks and I didn't like the voodoo magic and sorcery.

  • This movie was OK. Deal with it.

  • indiana jones a real national hero

  • Man i enjoyed this movie a lot but wtf did they choose Shia Labeouf??? I mean he's good but not that good in my opinion!! He's really good in funny movies but in action movies he's just like """heeyy man a fight RUN!!!"" If he's gonna be the new indy then the next movies are gonna be freaking gay!!!!

  • @Sharavan1138 no hes not hes indy son didint u get the hint at the end of the 4 ? he try to take the fedora but indy take it , harison ford will alway be the only indiana jones and mut his son

  • god i wish people would stop bad mouthing this movie. if u likd it u liked it. if u hated it u hated it. for me i enjoyed it a lot it definately wasnt the best out of the saga (haters its a saga now get over it) i dont mind if u hate it or love it or thought it was ok its when u start a war over it that annoys me now.so please stop the bad commenets becauseiwant indy 5 . ithinkstevenspildbergandgeorgelucas should waitabou2more years2letthishatridpass.butpleasemakeno.5anddont take 20yrs 2 do s

  • 4 was good up until the point Shia's character entered the pic, then it all went south. The good thing is that Ford is still Indy, despite his age!

  • Look everyone, Indy is dead. Nathan Drake is now here to take the treasure hunting reigns. Go play Uncharted and you will not be disappointed.

  • @Jammed9000 Indy is not dead! Drake is just Indy for the 21st century. Half Indy. Half Lara Croft. All AWESOME!

  • @joevictor53

Yeh Indy is not dead as long as you stick to the first 3. But the 4th one? Yeah they raped Indy good. He didn't survive the assault.

  • @Jammed9000 4th one wasn't bad. You guys just expected too much from it. Of course it wasn't going to be as good as the original 3 considering it was 20 years later but it's still a good old Indy film

  • @joevictor53

No it is not a good Indy film. And I'll tell you why: ALIENS. The movie has fucking ALIENS in it. Indiana Jones movies ARE SUPERNATURAL AND MAGICAL. NOT FUCKING SCI-FI. Do you understand why people think they raped Indy 4?

  • @Jammed9000 No, it is a good Indy film. So what if it has aliens? What is with you kids thinking any film with aliens is Sci-Fi. How do you know supernatural crap isn't caused by aliens? Aliens are just another belief like they had in the first 3 films. The only difference being they were linked to some real or made up religion. Still a belief though. The classic Indy films were set in the 30s and were trying to be classic serials from that time. This was trying to be a B-movie from the 50s

  • @joevictor53

Nah sorry dude, Indy 4 is an awful film besides the alien plot. A nuclear bomb goes off and he survives by going in a fridge. If something like that was in the originals it would be so frikkin stupid. The special effects (especially in the chase) were quite poorly done. There is a stupid and pointless action scene with crazy native people. (All for no reason). Mutt SWINGS AROUND WITH MONKEYS AND THEN THE MONKEYS ATTACK THE RUSSIANS. Need I say more? I could.

  • @Jammed9000 Fine, you hate it but us true Indy fans love it. You're saying the lead lined fridge was stupid but you have nothing wrong with jumping out of a plane on an inflatable raft and landing safely on snow? Or some crazy guy being able to pull out your heart and you still being alive during it? You're not a true Indy fan. You're a fake. And with that I'm ending this conversation here. Although, you do like Uncharted so I still have some respect for you. Not much but some.

  • Comment removed

  • @joevictor53

HOW DARE YOU SAY I AM NOT A TRUE INDY FAN. Just because I think Indy 4 ruins the series? I don't have a problem with it not being realistic, I have a problem with a REALLY stupid thing like the bomb and the fridge being in an Indy movie. Jumping out of a plane on a raft is more in line with a classic serial adventure. Think about this one example for a sec: A NUCLEAR BOMB AND A FRIDGE. Actually I am a TRUE indy fan becuase I know what made the originals actually work as a movie.

  • @joevictor53

Are you saying you're okay with Mutt swinging with monkeys and the the monkeys fight for them? Are you saying your okay with flying saucers(Sci-Fi) in a series that was always magical? I AM a big fan of the original films. Just because I don't like the 4th doesn't automatically make me a "fake" fan. I don't know what you are thinking. (P.S. I like Uncharted cause it is an homage to the Indy movies. Also cause Uncharted is MAGICAL and SUPERNATURAL. NO ALIENS, [Which imply science])

  • @Jammed9000

I think the Alien angle could have worked if they didn't actually show them to us. The most we should have seen of them should have been the hand at the beginning during the warehouse scene and that's it. There are clever ways to do it, and Lucas opted for the bad. They should have kept the Aliens mysterious kinda like how the first X-Files movie did it, and then linked it somehow to why the Aztec civilization suddenly vanished.

  • @Jammed9000 ya at least its not ben gates fom nation treashit

  • whast the name of the song at 0;15?

  • Can someone please explain to me why everyone hates Indiana Jones 4.

  • You're a teacher?

    > Part time

    Class!

  • I wanted another Indiana Jones movie for a long time now ever since i seen the 4th i wish they shouldve never made the movie and left as a trilogy. Indy 4 is the Rocky 5 of the Indy series

  • "the armies of evil"

LOL, now that's a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

  • worst movie ever. and i love indy.

  • I was soooo excited to watch this when I first saw the trailer....and when it did see it....I wish I had never went. WHY MR. FORD WHY! (cries)

  • i loved it amazing film its good to no tht my kids wont think its an old people film :)

  • Fuck the fridge. Fuck George Lucas.

I love IJ and I love Harrison Ford, but by Christ this film shouldn't have happened.

  • Yeah how he escaped atomic blast with a fridge...

  • Me encanto esta pelicula, INDIANA JONES es lo mejor.............

  • That crack of the whip gives me goosebumps every time. Haha

  • I love Indiana Jones, but this one (not trailer, but the movie itself) was complete disappointmant. Children (and adults who never grew up) should have a movie in which they can imagine themselfs as Indiana Jones, and in this one everything is to unreal and senseless which makes it hard to take it seriously.

  • i dont know i just pictured indiana being like a scholar for old things, prehistoric that every one kinda knows.. like the cup of jesues the 10 comandments thing but this is kinda prehistoric mixed with sci fi.. my opinion dont bite my head off

  • I love this flick!

  • im sorry but i dont see y people hate this movie so much i mean cmon whats so bad about it the fridge scene? who cares if it isnt realistic its a movie we watch movies to get away from boring reality and into something exciting and besides if u look at half of the crap in the other indie movies half of the stuff in there isnt realistic either

  • @biggman18, I think many people over time forgot what the old Indy movies were inspired by, and then had a very "sacred ground" type of attitude towards the the old films, the fridge scene is just as upsurd as Indy using a plastic boat to survive a plane crash, People forgot that the whole point of indy movies is that they were meant to be fun movies that didn't take themselves to seriously, I think over time like "Temple", people will accept "Kingdom" as a worthy Indy movie.

  • @TheDalinkwent I agree

  • also, i know the alien ending was a bit surreal and didn't fit for a indiana jones movie, but i actually loved that ending. it sort of gave connection to a lucas sci fi film, like, oh, idk, STARWARS. seeing the aliens made me feel as if indiana jones was han solo as well. i always thought of the alien ending that way, but think what u want, just don't bash the fuckin movie with pure hatredness.

  • guys, stop friggin crucifying this movie

its not batman and robin, its indiana jones 4

ok, if ur seriously gonna whine about all the "unrealistic" shit, u obviously haven't seen the previous 3 films. weren't those movies pretty realistic? no, of course they're not, so why complain ur ass off over a simple scene of an atomic bomb sending a fridge over?

  • indiana jones, one of my favorite movies when i was a kid, now a new one, yell yeah

  • This movie was the biggest dissapointment of my movie going life to date. Tryign to rehash past glories with too much CGI, Shia Letransformers on a motorcyle and some ropey looking (takes deep breath)... aliens *sigh*. Me and my boyfriend watched Raiders, Temple and Last Crusade leading up to this the next night and when sitting directly next to them, it shows itself to be the atrocious money making pile of crap that it truly is. GOD DAMN AWFUL.

  • Many people disliked this movie before it even came out, and that is because they had already decided the KOTCS could not be as good as the originals. If this was some movie not affiliated with the Indy Franchise, many of the "haters" would've loved this movie. People reacted the same way with the prequel Star Wars moviees...

  • I had no idea another Indy was coming when I saw this trailer in the theaters, I nearly shit my pants with excitement

  • I hope the fifth movie is better

  • @maverick1520 I'm going to pretend that you didn't say that, that I didn't hear it and that it is one big false rumour... or someone is going to die. Leave Indie and my childhood alone please and come up with a new idea that 10 years down the line you can ruin for another generation please Mr Lucas! Don't make me come at you with a shovel...

  • proud to say i saw this movie 13 times in the cinema! It doesn't suck. it was freaking amazing, best movie of 08. once indy put that hat on, its INDY. who cares about cgi, that stuff is virtually in EVERY movie these days, stop complaining and accept it. its not just lucas and spielberg doing it. Ford did awesome, as always and im a big shia fan, seeing those two together was pretty much EPIC for me.

  • Sucked big time!! All hype yet crappy story.......love Indy and Spielberg but this one didnt work for me, thats all!

  • CGI and shia are gay

  • This is a good movie, though granted it's nowhere near as good as the originals.

  • They better not mess up Indy 5, in my opinion, I didn't really like the idea of Mutt being Indy's son.

  • shia labeoufffff <3

  • It's a good movie, but not a good "Indiana Jones" movie.

  • what is that song? at the begining

  • I believe it's from the Children of Dune soundtrack.

  • Thanks

  • 00:58 sec. Look at the left screen!!! lol its all fake. They removed the guns from the trailer.

  • good trailer

    movie not so much

  • All haters can suck it. This movie was great!

  • indyy!!

  • I dunno, I really liked that '50's theme. The nuke city scene was pretty awesome as well as the whole "Soviets are the bad guys"

  • you are totally wrong. this movie may not have had the same feel of past indy films but it was still awsom! I personally think it was a good comeback 8/10 sounds reasonable.

  • but i do think this is like the best trailer i've ever seen, maybe just because i like Indiana Jones A LOT but i still think out of all trailers this is really great...

  • Yeah, the trailer is really nostalgic.

  • ahh man you should see my recut of this it's pretty good please check it out....

  • This movie gets beat up too much, it was honestly an enjoyable flick.

Is it as good as the other ones? No, because they had to do without CG. But, in this one they use it to their advantage.

  • 3rd movie was legendary

  • Say what you want about this film, but you got to admit that the line

    'You're a teacher?'

    'Part time!'

    is pretty badass!

  • hahaha, this one isnt the best like the other movies but it at least entertained ppl! :]

  • whats the main theme called?

  • The Raiders March.

  • okay, to clarify.

Indiana jones survives a nuclear bomb by closing himself in a "lead lined" fridge, where he is blown hundreds of feet away, then gets out of the fridge perfectly fine and brushes himself off.

he then survives like 7 waterfalls, each larger in succession, and doesnt even lose his hat.

then a mountain turns into a fucking UFO and flies away?

this movie has really lost the plot compared to the other ones.

  • It was pretty 'iffy' but it was alright

  • @Neilzo1 It's Indiana Jones, man! He's no mere mortal, you should know that by now.

  • what theme is that in the beginning, like whast the name?

  • one of the main themes from the film "Bubba Ho-Tep" score by Tyler Bates.

Youtube it and listen to all the themes it amazing

  • Excuse me sir, it appears you're in the wrong video.

  • i love when the music picks up around 00:50!

I think this movie would have been alot better if George Lucas didnt have his input on it. But its still pretty good and has good action.

  • I think we should give Steven Spielberg some credit here... it is NEVER easy to do sequels , especially when expectations are that high!!

Under these circumstances and considering the long time between part 3 and 4, I think Steven did a great job!

I like the movie - it certainly upholds the Indy flair!!! even though one might argue about the esoteric ending ;-)

  • Exactly. That's what I thought about The Dark Knight, how the expectations were okay but the reviews shot through the roof.

  • whats the rocknroll song playing in the beginning of the movie itself? could someone tell me pls

  • hound dog elvis presley

  • thank you very much

  • any1 remember that character short round?

he needs to be in the next one yay

  • i do the little kid

  • probably my second fav indy film (behind raiders)

  • if u watch the whole video the scene at 1:37 is the scene with the flesh eating army-ants

  • no it isnt

    army ants?

  • ya theres a scene with red army ants that eat ppl

  • yeah, but that shot wasnt it

  • As said in the movie, they're called Siafu. They are pretty big, say a couple inches long.

  • I know

  • Actually I think it's a BIT better the 2nd time I watched it because I had high hopes. I just didn't like the extended use of CGI. also the Aliens was stupid :S DAMN YOU GEORGE LUCAS!!!! But in conclusion. I think it's a Kind of a Decent film :D Didn't like the Shia as much in this. He's basically the same character in everything he plays lmao

  • hay, same here. i got so hyped for it, i even saw it the very day it came out. i hated it, then watched it again and thought it was okay.

  • I think Shia is a great actor, but I can't stand the scene where he swings through the jungle to catch up with the jeeps. It's ridiculous.

  • This was a very good movie. This was actually the first one that I saw. I saw it in theaters, It's a good series.

  • a movie that I enjoyed every single minute of it.

  • i'm just really glad that the movie wasn't Shia LaBeouf pushing him in a wheel chair through out the movie. I'm just thankful Harrison Ford put the fedora on again. I enjoyed it. and i hope they make another one. It's being discussed

  • Comment removed

  • OMG!!!!!!! REALLY!!!

  • It's been out for over a year you know...

  • I'm not stupid.

(and it's been out for 2 years.)

  • whats the name of the song at the very beginning?

  • i luv that whip :D

  • rape!! rape !!

  • All those who gave this film a bad comment dont know what good film is. The film is a GREAT Film. And it is bullshit that it is very different from the originals. It is very like them.. This is a good movie.

  • i agree! The Alien ending makes perfect sense. In the 50s Aliens were a popular topic, the government were apparentally hiding Aliens from the public, not to mention the Roswell incident. Of Course the ending would be Alien because what creature has a skull like that?

  • U know what, I said the same thing to my mum when she, though she really like Indiana Jones's movies, disliked the alien in the end it's a great movie I really had the good luck of watching it three times though I wanted to watch it even more

  • I still can't believe, everybody thinks aliens are more unrealistic than god. It is just logical und probable, that somewhere on the millions of planets all around the never ending space another species of life exists. God does not have any proofs and is as realistic as magic or fortune telling.

  • George lucas has.....ah i wont even begin too...too....*spits in discust!* WHY!

ok people if you havent seen that fiilm...dont! if you have....get amnesia or.....just forget about it and get on with your lives!

  • Stupid american propaganda movie. Steven Spielberg use to make great movies. But this movie I just hate and dislike.

  • u can thank lucas for that

  • if george lucas did james bond?

  • Though it has some stupid parts and it is different from the old movies, I still love this one!

At first I thought that it was going to be very bad, but it's quite good.

  • if it sucks then why did you see it twice?

  • Indy 4 was a terrible movie.I wasn't much of a fan of Indy 3,but compared to THIS one it was brilliant. I think so many people WANTED to like it(much like SW Ep.1) that they have convinced themselves it was good. I'd really like to know what about it people actually enjoyed. Story? Acting? Visuals?

  • If you hate Indy 3, you hate the whole Indiana Jones series, because Indy 3 was brilliant!

  • Seriously, only people who hate Indiana Jones hate Indy 3, because Indy 3 was trully brilliant

I found if better than Raiders of the Lost Ark

  • i think this was a movie where u just hav to hav an open mind. of course it wasnt a good as the old ones, but still it was just a fun movie. i personaly didnt hav a problem with the alien concept. i thought harrison ford and shia labouff (or however u spell it) worked terrific together on screen. and overall it was just good to see indy again.

  • in the end that skull is a aliens still a good film not as good as the loder ones

  • now thats great DOWNLOADING A TRAILER thats just STUPID without offending man

  • I love this film!

  • I really liked this film, i don't bash anyone like a fanboy who doesn't like Indy 4, true there were really cheesy moments like the truck off the cliff on a tree drive over a tree safely into the water but it was a funfilled entertaining movie, i hope if they really are making 5 and 6 do something religous in Asia or somewhere else, I just hope they don't make Shia/Henry Jones the 3rd the main character as George Lucas said.

  • Is this movie REALLY that bad? I've heard it's not as good as the first three...but is it really that bad?

  • Terrible Movie Lucas. CGI? Worst thing ever!

  • Whats the name of this music? i could really use it

  • Do you mean the music at the beginning ?. It is essentially the credits music from the Children of Dune , though a bit altered and rearranged. I have the mp3 if you want it.

  • thanks, i could use it, i like the sound, is there a link to get it that you have?

  • who cares shia is in it so its good, thats all that matters to me :)

  • I find the bashing of this movie sometimes a bit righteous and over the top. I'm a fan of Indiana Jones and really enjoyed this movie even if it isn't as good as Raiders or Crusade. As for the 'alien' storyline I personally give the writers/Lucas kudos for being brave enough to try something quite different to the religious themes, even if the storyline did get a bit jumpy in places.

  • Fuck you, George motherfucking Lucas should have written a religious theme, you cocksucker, aliens are not the Indiana Jones way, if you want to watch alien movies, I recomend you watch War of the Worlds.

This movie would have been better if it would have been something to do with El Dorado or the Incas

  • Well, I can't argue with that now can I ?.

  • Dude it's their movie they created the character they can do whatever the hell they want with it, so why don't u nerdy fucks move out of ur parent's house, and get a life, quit making such a big deal over 1 movie, i liked it.

  • Did you even see the film? When they got out of the quicksand with the snake? What went through your mind as you watched that? The ants scene, which was ripped right out of the Mummy series, and Shila Ladouch swinging through the jungle on vines with monkeys! He was swinging on tree vines with monkeys! Kinda makes you wish that CG wasn't invented. Now that Lucas can do whatever he wants,it just sends the novelty of it straight down the toilet, taking all the talent in the movie down there with it

  • Agreed

I can buy a lot of impossible stunts (falling out of a plane and down a snowly slope on a raft into rapids), but in the 4th film they just recycled it, it was the same scene! As was the jungle chase scene, looked very familiar to the chase scene in Last Crusade. To me the 4th one doesn't count as an Indiana Jones film, it counts as a total ass rape of the franchise.

  • oh, why don't u go bitch a little more. Preferably 2 someone who gives a shit about what ur saying, because i sure as hell don't asshole.

  • you obviously DO care since you're replying to my comment

but after looking at your profile and your taste in movies, TV shows, and music(which are very good) your OK in my book, only a difference of opinion on THIS subject

sorry, this movie just really pissed me off

  • thanks, after i read ur comment i began to watch the other Indiana Jones movies, since i didn't, and now i get why people r mad, i mean aliens? where the fuck does that come from. This movie was horrible compared to the others.

  • my mistake if it was george lucas. I meant that george lucas begged spielburg to do this.HE is a alien and sci-fi lover. I don't want to type this again. I'm sorry for my mistake on the last comment.

  • even though steven spielburgs and george lucas made star wars saga and indiana jones one dosent mean the the idea was all that bad., come on!! I never knew that spielburgs begged lucas to make the alien in this indiana jones, but the plot, the effects, and the charcters were very good. I mean spielburgs is a alien and sci-fi lover. He made star wars, this jones movie, not to mention ET.

I respect everyones comment. But seriosly give them a break there running out of ideas!!

  • Gearge can't get Star Wars Right either, well at least the last 3 movies made.

Geoarge should do mankind a favor and stay indoors for the rest of his life...

  • This movie is an absolute testament to the fact that George Lucas can't do ANYTHING but Star Wars.

  • remember, when you say they're aliens, they weren't necessarily from another planet. they were just interdimensional entities. maybe they came out of movie or something? this movie was incredible. maybe for the next one(bc ford said he'd do another), they can go to asia and possibly bring back short round

  • I saw in the theaters and saw it again yesterday on DVD and man does it suck ! Right up there with the Star Wars prequels. That fat fuck Lucas has lost his damn mind. Harrison still looks legit, but for christ's sake ! Bring him a story, some witty dialogue a good suporting cast...and on and on. This movie has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. And lose the fuckin' CGI cartoon bullshit !

  • indiana jones is a very good movie

  • I.. I just don't think about it

  • did he really get raped? damn.. o.o

  • the crystal skull is real, but not that with the UFO

  • I grew up watching the Indian Jones films, but George Lucas and Steven Spielberg raped Indiana in the new movie, raped him in the ass. Shila LaDouche swinging in the jungle with monkeys......pfftt, that's not an Indiana Jones movie.....that's rape

  • Right on dude.

  • Yall have to remember, Steven Spielburg did not like the idea of aliens, and Lucas kept assisitng to aliens on and on, and Ford didnt like the idea has well, so yall cant really blame Spielburg on this, and they werent trying to make another Raiders, Ford did his job to bring back Indiana Jones better than ever and he did, I personally enjoyed this flick and the alien aint really a big deal to me, althought i do hate Lucas for it that he begged for it

  • i enjoyed it, it could have been worse we could have seen indy with a walker that shoots a grappling hook, and a nurse following him around. not bad for an old man, and remember it's fantasy !!!

  • it wasn't that bad people, it's a movie fer christ sake, don't over "ANAL"yze it. Or you will hate it.

  • lol

you sew the southpark episode? :D

  • LoL yea he was raped xD

  • you have to analyse it to like it, not the other way around

  • my fave indiana jones movie would have to be raiders of the lost ark, my second fave would be the last crusade, third would be kingdom of the crystal skull and fourth would be the temple of doom. i didnt like temple of doom much

  • My favourite is Last Crusade, second is Raiders of the Lost Ark, third is Temple of Doom, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull does not measure upto any of the original 3.

I thought that Indy 4 would have been better if it centered around something like El Dorado instead of stupid Crystal Skulls

  • I love indianna jones but for some reason I just didnt like number 4 that much :(

  • awesome

  • I'm sorry guys I went to the theater to see this movie and it's just awesome I had no problems with this movie at all it's coming out on dvd in october and I'm eagarly awaiting to buy it!!! I LOVE INDY!!!

  • I like all the indy movies even the new one,ya a lot of ppl dont like it ,but I just think its pretty different from the others but i still enjoyed watching it,you have to admit it was cool having them bring indy back at least

  • I love Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Yeah, it was in a way a little different than the rest but still an 'A' in my "book".

  • Watch all the sci-fi movies if you find this different, they are only 3 Indiana Jones movies, and they are-

    Raiders of the Lost Ark

Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade

I would not put aliens into an Indiana Jones movie, and this does not deserve the Indiana Jones title
