Jack was miserable with his life so he was determined to make both Steve and Kayla miserable as well simply because Kayla loves Steve and chose to be with him instead of being with Jack.
Jack was a very self centered person at the beginning. It took Jennifer, Jo, and others to show him that he didn't have to be that way. Harper really did a good job in making Jack into a junior version of him in many ways. I'm just glad that Jack finally came around and accepted himself and was able to move on and become his own person.
I remember how mean Jack was back then. Amazing the complete turnaround her made. I think if Kayla would have told Steve he was putting down Benji too he would have really been angry.
@SnKTrueLove Oh if she had told Steve that he was insulting Benji I think Jack would've gotten his butt kicked by Steve and I believe that's why Kayla didn't tell him because she didn't want Steve to get in trouble.
