  • @jorge12524 De nada, muchas gracias, hermosa LAV :)

  • Et espagnols aussi: les Talgo! ;-)

  • Maybe high speed for Spain, but for other countries that is the average speed.

  • Que hermoso.

  • @Desierto26 Gracias

  • Damn that awesome!!!! desert and high speed trains great combination.Spain is amazing!!!

  • @IMYVaKE Yeah i agree :) thank you

  • @touareg27 Thank you, gracias , i didn't know that was the trenhotel ! :)

  • @dashloc A que hora lo grabaste? la composición es la tipica de Trenhotel, pero nose, quizá estuviese realizando algún servicio especial...si lo viste a primera hora de la mañana, seguro que era el trenhotel! ;)

  • @touareg27 ya lo creo el talgo a sido genial

  • Amazing video with beautiful trains with a magnificient view and witha a magic touch of dashloc!

Greetings for the job that you done in you video!

  • @edystvumdb Thank you very mutch, yes, crazy place i wish i will come back and filmed on HD this time, there also more high spot south of Zaragoza !

  • Amazing video with beautiful Spanish trains.

    Best part is:

    0:35 - S102 (?)

2:07 - Avant passing the bridge

4:04 - a clasical Talgo on the bridge

The Velaro-E ride here 300 kph or faster?

    Greetings.

  • @Fiorekolej Thanks, about the speed i don't know, look like running at 230 kmh to me or something like that ! About the S-102, the train passed a work zone, and move up the dust of the ballast, was a crazy luck to catch something like that !

  • Locations, camera angles, very judicious use of zoom and pan — this is a work of art! Each time I view it I catch more elegant detail. Many thanks. I can't imagine the amount of time required to photograph and edit this piece.

  • @Larsky1010 Thank you very mutch, was inspired, easy the place is amazing ! About the time, one day at recording 4 hours to edit, not very hard to do ! ;)

  • wow absolutely breath taking video! brings back great memories when i went to europe riding the eurostar to paris ,tgv duplex to montepellier a talgo3series i thought thy were retired wow, to barcelona then the next morning the s102 pato 318km/h to sevilla s100 to madrid returning back to paris onboard the trenhotel then on to germany on ice3mf and ice1 to hamburg and a ic 101 to amsterdam all over in 10 days i will never forget that one things for i have to get back to barcelona and sevilla

  • @budd2200 Thank you, what a trip ! :P

  • Great video thanks

  • @DanyZ103 Your welcome, thanks to you :)

  • That was one hell of a long train at 4:05. I wish we had trains like that in the uk. *sigh* :'(

I miss these trains so so so so so so so so so so much. But luckily i have a simulator to keep me happy.

  • Beautiful video! Like the spanish trains!

  • @torteect Thank you, yes sure :)

  • Are the Ferkeltaxe at the beginning there as standbys in case an ICE breaks down? :P

  • @AndreiTupolev Hahaha lol, not exactly, certainly more used like inspection train !

  • Extra trains and super speed 5*

  • @wojtopkp thank you :)

  • Thank you Miticapandaru, it's an awesome place there :)

  • 5* The Velaro E is the fastest train in the world in his normal serial form. He could be faster than 400 kph.

  • Thanks Kewlrauhl, faster more 400 kmh ?! where did he run at this speed ?

  • @dashloc in tests of the Barcelona-Madrid line, a standard Velaro E gone up to 409 km/h. That´s a world record for non modified trains with standard line tension.

  • @EduSanjuan777 Ok, did they grow up the speed at 350kmh in some part of the line (Barcelona/Madrid) ? It's a question that i can't answering !

  • @dashloc before this year 2011 ends, the line Madrid -Barcelona will have a new 350 kmh limit

  • @EduSanjuan777 coool !

  • Your style is excellent! Nice to see some of the breathtaking landscape, too!

  • Thanks Ceaabe, i work about, yes great place to be :)

  • Top top video. Very unusual and breath taking footage.

  • Thank you Citylife82, i ave waiting a while for this one (on this place) on the net, seeing nothing coming i was go directly myself recording the video, lol !

  • Whats the service vehicle at 0:30 ? Looks like an old GDR rail bus. Serie 772. "Ferkeltaxe" (Piggy's taxi)

  • I don't know Railroadmovie, but i had thinking at the same stuff ! :P

  • a bit research shows: two of these cars (772 175 and 771 018) were sold to the former spanish infrastrucure company GIF. After 2005 GIF has become ADIF. Maybe they're still in service.

  • Yes certainly, thanks for the info :)

  • BRAVO! Especially the one at 4:05!

That must be a delivery of NEW Trainsets.

    5 Stars!

  • Thanks Modeltrainguy, not exactly it's a double Talgo set limited to 155mph, this kind of composition (Loc + cars) are common there running on high speed lines.

Here only high speed rems are running on HSL excepted for two freight trains running only late in the night at 125 mph.

  • Excellent! An instant favourite video.

  • Thanks Kibidk :)

  • Bah de rien, merci Polarmass, sympa.

C'est sure qu'avec des paysages comme ça c'était pas bien dure de faire des bons plans ! :)

  • Yup double Talgo ! Vandak91

  • Lol TudorXcobul :D

  • Absolutely superb dashloc. You've really excelled yourself this time. I agree with Rocketboy1950 that this looks much like many parts of Australia, but with trains, and fast ones at that.

  • Thanks Crosshead1, yup (laught) i can always push the limit up :) maybe one time high speed trains in Australia ?!

  • Absolutely beautiful shots! Thanks for sharing.

  • Your welcome Wn676, thanks to you :)

  • exellent video dashloc

it is on the hign speed line Madrid-Séville ?

  • Thanks Tf687, not, LAV between Madrid/Barcelona, Lleida/Zaragoza area.

  • Awesome. This part of Spain looks a lot like parts of California, so I can watch this and imagine that we've already got our high speed train built.

  • Yes i had thinking about that when i was recording, but windmills are missing in the vid :P

  • Great stuff, well done. That part of Spain is just so much like a lot of Australia............with trains.

  • Thanks Rocketboy1950, yes but certainly less wild than the Australia :D

  • Is this the line that is on time to within 30 seconds? I was at a presentation by Brian Solomon and he was telling us about his friend (could it have been you?) was shooting video and couldn't turn the camera on to record before the train whizzed past at 186 mph...so they calculated the schedule and found out when the train was coming, accurate to 30 seconds!

  • Euh Don't know Brian Salomon, but yes times schedule on enginer info lines are at more or less than 30 sec on the time ! Remember, at 186mph/300kmh / 30 sec = 2,5km/ 1,6 mills.

Argh i don't count how many trains i had miss due to the high speed, here was hard because the Velaro are very quiet sounding at high speed !

  • I didnt know Spain had purchased ICE3 style trainsets, do they still use the TGV style trainsets as well?

Fantastic video, great scenery and trains.

  • Thanks Nikosjk1, not exactly a ICE3 it's a

" Velaro " it's a bit like you compare the TGV reseaux and the Atlantic one, look like similar but very different !

About the TGV, they still used the S-101 series of what i know, but i had heard that's the "Euromed" similar to S-101 serie but whit broad gauges will be disappear.
