Aleksandra, you are a Russian pride! Congratulations! Now you must move on to take on Judit Polgar! You can do it... just be cautious with those modeling and acting ventures, as this is the wrong path to take - you don't want to become like Kournikova, who sold her talent for the glamour of public spotlight!

She's the women's world champion but she's not the best woman chess player. She isn't even in the same league with Judit Polgar... not even close.

The first question was nothing to do with chess! He may as well have asked about her thoughts on the Soviet ideology! Why did he keep bringing up the whole issue of the Soviet Union?
That said, Aleksandra fielded those questions well. Women aren't as good as men because there aren't as many players. Men have a bigger talent pool in that respect, so men are always more likely to dominate the top 100 in the world.
