  • Ion Mihai Pacepa was the highest ranking intelligence official ever to have defected from the former Eastern Bloc. He was Romanian.

  • lies and lies

  • Ion Mihai Pacepa was not a Soviet spy. He was from the Romanian intellegence.

  • Catholic church this wonderful institution which burn people alive 'cause they had different views

  • @sekulaadam 500 years ago by the way.

  • Omg,KGB it would be strongly recommended for you to kill Pacepa, the spy chief ,a bloody traitor for his country! He was CIA double agent ,that mother fucker! i wonder if i am safe after i post this patetic comment, but it's the reality!

  • @TheTrinityRo sa ne bagam amandoi pl in rasa si in mortii lui.:D

  • Pope Pius XII was not the strongest pope that ever lived. But he did a good enough job all things considered. But he certainly did not condone nazism! or even communism as a whole. The worst persecution of Catholics happened at the hands of these anti-christs, worst than Nero!!! No true Pope would defend communism or help in any way, even though the country in which the Vatican sits was communist at the time. Tuff times! tough indeed!

  • We must fight these scoundrels rascals who do not stop lying all the time to defame the Catholic Church. Communists are the most vile, rotten, despicable, disgusting, mitomaniac and repulsive beings who ever lived. They do not deserve any credit, respect or consideration.

News like this should be spread everywhere, so that people know the truth about this great man, named Eugenio Pacelli!

  • This is really fascinating stuff. Amazing how many people are willing to perpetuate a history that never happened. It reminds me a little of Orwell's1984. Pius XII was in a bad situation under Mussolini and the Catholic Church in Germany was in grave peril under Hitler. People that claim Pius XII was in cahoots with Hitler have to ignore a mountain of evidence that Hitler was persecuting the Catholic Church right and left and that many priests died at Dachau and other concentration camps.

  • filthy filthy anti-semites

  • This is of no importance. In his essay "Zionism versus Bolshevism" Winston Churchill described his views. The Holodomor is not discussed right now. So stop attacking Jews. The problem is, that until 1958 all Jews loved Pius XII, and Golda Meir praised Pius XII despite his stance that he would not recognize Israel as long as the Palestinians were deprived of basic human rights. Despite that, Pius XII was loved. But now, they are more anti-Catholic.

  • @IustitiaPax Pope Pius was a CATHOLIC leader. If he didn't recognize Israel as long as the Palestinians were being persecuted that doesn't make him anti-semitic. The Pope is a humanist, not a politician. Jews and Catholics were heavily persecuted due to communism no true Pope would condone such terrible actions.

  • @defgill Israeli diplomacy after 1967 no longer tolerated Pope Pius XII's critical stance on Zionism, and engaged in the (Communist-originated) propaganda against His Holiness, who was a Pastor Angelicus and a great Holy Father for us all. Santo subito, Pio XII!

  • Just think, you could have had a Mass said or prayed for them instead.

  • Well, at 1st I was opposed to your views, but now that you have written it in all caps it makes much more sense to me. People knew about the murders, the degree & means was not known. Only a few like Churchill or FDR had an inkling of what was actually happening.

The Pope & the Vatican made many statements denouncing Nazism, in various ways. In the midst of the war it was more important to take action. 10s of thousands of Jews were saved in Vatican facilities. 100s were sent to Israel.

  • They never knew about gas chambers, and there were no "gas ovens". That is your word choice. The Pope protected thousands of Jews in the Vatican in late 1943 and early 1944. His Christmas Message of 1942 condemned the persecution and starvation of people on account on race or nationality. Read it. Or are you preparing an Holocaust against Catholics for some lie of the KGB-Securitate which you WANT to believe, because you are full of hatred against Catholics?

  • No. Not true. No unbiased historian "admits" that he was pro-Nazi. That is nothing more than a lie.
