But years of being first-hand witness to the black blame game, weekly corruption scandals by black government officials, but most importantly a black voting electorate that continues to vote for the party screwing them over, have told me sometimes cultures can be TOO different to live together.
I do recognize that majority rule is oppressive and that interracial violence is high even escalating with pricks like Julius Malema spurring it on.
I like to believe that cultures can be reconciled, but in South Africa, that is not the key issue. There have been events in history that have created great divides between the two cultures- reconciliation is not complete.
In Canada, we were lucky that our governments were liberal enough to institute radical change to make our multiculturalism work

It does so by ensuring a number of things, such as making sure they are bringing to Canada what Canadian culture values. Things like a high level of education, capital, strong work ethic. Clearly, you have never been to Canada. If you go into Canada's largest cities (Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal), a large percentage of the people living in these cities are either foreign born or ethnic minorities. Look i'm south african and it's true that black economic empowerment has made it hard for the white youth to get jobs and tertiary education even though my generation had nothing to do with the apartheid era. I am deeply sympathetic to the current plight of the whites in South Africa but there are reasons for there to be deep divides even to this day.
1. Minority rule only ended in the 1990s and even then the blacks lived a horrible life for the most part (I've seen the statistics from research)
2. There was never land equalization- whites still hold the overwhelming majority
3. Many blacks lie in brutal poverty in comparison to the whites

It does so by ensuring a number of things, such as making sure they are bringing to Canada what Canadian culture values. Things like a high level of education, capital, strong work ethic. In other words, Canada's minorities have, in the large, the SAME culture as the majority. You are multi-ETHNIC not multi-cultural.

In this case education, something that minorities in South Africa share, but that indigenous blacks don't really strive for. It's interesting to note that Indians and coloureds (mixed-race) who were also formally oppressed with blacks, now interact regularly with their so-called former oppressors. In fact, they now vote with the former all-white opposition.

If you go into Canada's largest cities (Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal), a large percentage of the people living in these cities are either foreign born or ethnic minorities. If you walk around these cities, you'll know what I mean. Additionally, Canada receives an inflow of 200,000+ foreign immigrants per year which is huge when considering that Canada's population is only around 35 Million.

You know that sociology is being proved subordinate to heredity and that wishful thinking that all humans everywhere would prove identically matched given the same conditioning has now been shown to be erroneous. @MsColdCanada Skin colour has absolutely nothing to do with it. Forensic pathologists can determine a person's racial type after the body has decomposed to a skeleton. Racial groups have evolved to fit perfectly their own environments. Some human races have developed urbanised civilisation with complex structures. Races that didnt get beyond hunter-gathering seem to make up the greatest criminal element when they migrate to these advanced zones. The answer is obvious unless you are blind.
