I have not seen any hard scientific data that man has had any play in global warming. Electric cars can go up to 125 miles per hour up to 200 miles on one charge, we could decrease the pollution and so many people wouldn't die, the only reason every single car in the world isn't electric and utterly clean for the environment is because of money, companies want profit and they wont care if they hurt people or the environment for it. Exxon has more money than norway, indonesia, and other countries in the middle east. And to think we could change this but won't, this world sucks ass
@Z0410523XJ3 where would the necessary electricity to fuel those cars come from? Essentially you'd still be using fossil fuels, you just wouldn't be the one pressing the button. Now if we factor in the energy lost moving electricity and the fact that coal methods account for 44 percent of our commercial energy production, and coal, while being ridiculously cheap, is far more polluting than gasoline.
In conclusion, you're better off seeking fuel efficient vehicles.

Wrong. You must be able to get the electricity from somewhere. It doesn't just magically appear. Pollution is the inevitable cause of driving.. period. Where do you think we get our electricity from? Power plants that burn either coal or use uranium. Solar isn't where it needs to be to supply the entire US with power.. yet.

You might also want to have a quick look at the heavy metals involved in the batteries for these. I'm not saying I'm for ordinary cars but there is a lot of other options than electric that have been shelved by power companies.

Why not spend some time learning how to use natural energy to travel through space time, keep warm, communicate effectively? I mean if you want to get from point A to point B, it seems like all of the metals and gases are actually obstacles.

I have not seen any hard scientific data that man has had any play in global warming. The comparison is pretty gray when forest fires have been burning 1000's of tons of fuel a second, day in and day out... God knows how many volcanoes and under sea vents have been spewing out ash for millions of years

@huss211 lux aeterna requiem for a dream, but this version is slightly diffrent from all the other versions of it i've heard, i cant find any others the same as this, and i like this one best.
i download it at wwwyoutube-mp3org, you just put in the video url and it makes it an audo you can put on your ipod.
its a song from some random film, but whenver i listen to it i think of the pollution. we watched the video in biology. whoever made it, YOUR VIDEO IS FAMOUS DUDE!

Electric cars can go up to 125 miles per hour up to 200 miles on one charge, we could decrease the pollution and so many people wouldn't die, the only reason every single car in the world isn't electric and utterly clean for the environment is because of money, companies want profit and they wont care if they hurt people or the environment for it. Exxon has more money than norway, indonesia, and other countries in the middle east. And to think we could change this but won't, this world sucks ass

@Z0410523XJ3 where would the necessary electricity to fuel those cars come from? Essentially you'd still be using fossil fuels, you just wouldn't be the one pressing the button. Now if we factor in the energy lost moving electricity and the fact that coal methods account for 44 percent of our commercial energy production, and coal, while being ridiculously cheap, is far more polluting than gasoline.
In conclusion, you're better off seeking fuel efficient vehicles.

Wrong. You must be able to get the electricity from somewhere. It doesn't just magically appear. Pollution is the inevitable cause of driving.. period. Where do you think we get our electricity from? Power plants that burn either coal or use uranium. Solar isn't where it needs to be to supply the entire US with power.. yet.

@Z0410523XJ3 - Where did you think the energy comes from to charge electric cars? Powerstations are just as polluting. You might also want to have a quick look at the heavy metals involved in the batteries for these. I'm not saying I'm for ordinary cars but there is a lot of other options than electric that have been shelved by power companies.

Electricity has to come from somewhere, Electric cars may not pollution the immediate surrounding, but the generators, which burn gases or oil or nuclear (solar or wind are not sufficient), will have to work much harder to produce enough electricity to move these cars. It will certainly pollute some other area.
