  • RON PAUL: weapon of mass instruction.

  • the dream team for america ron paul and nader

  • these two dudes are wise and extremely knowledgeable. Imagine a world where we could a listen to a debate between the two of them? and not who's sleeping with who

  • CNN gets owned again - we need to make an alternative media for truth.

  • Ron Paul and Ralph Nader against New World Order 2012!

  • "Some might say you're an odd couple but I'll leave that for some of the condom---COMMENtators"...

  • with both these guys at the helm we be ok. its the zionist jews that are bringing the usa down

  • Paul/Nader 2012!

  • Ron Paul is one of the rare true american idealogy left along with Nader. For those who discredit these two I would like to know how and why? FYI look up henry kissenger interviews about Barack Obama real scary talk from kissenger.(Kissenger is had his finger in US government business since the 70's maybe earlier than that)By the way Kissenger also took care of obama thru college and hired him after college. Research and do your homework fellow Americans before you lash out w/nonfactual opn's.

  • @Openmind241

Christopher Hitchens wrote extensively about Kissinger and his war crimes.

  • Did anyone else notice how nothing changed when Obama took office? It's like "same hand- different puppet" I wonder what President Henry Kissinger thinks a b o u t t h i s ?

  • the 27th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution allows for pay raises for Congress. These are automatic and cannot be recended without amending the Constitution. Ron Paul has to go on record as saying that these greedy politicians will agree to term limits and limit pay raises to the amount given to all federal workers if he thinks he's going to get away with killing the income and medical coverage for seniors, veterans, and indigents alike. Stop the hypocracy!

  • Ron Paul will dismantle Social Security and Medicare as well as end all Veteran's Benefits. Those who paid into Social Security and Medicare for decades, many of whom also fought in the military in past wars, are having the budget balanced on their struggling backs. Many will be left indigent, hungry, homeless, and without any substantial medical care. They will simply wither and die after contributing so much to the systems that Ron Paul will eliminate as President. Think twice, vote once!

  • @kimmykum1 You are horribly misinformed. Please provide the link where paul says the things you claim.

  • @guineapigyt

/watch?v=3qojv1bR-S0&feature=player_embedded @4:40 the host of The Young Turks flat-out asks Ron Paul would he end Medicare and Social Security. The answer is YES, the he babbles about a way to fund it while he "transitions out". He states that they are unconstitutional, yet they are amendments to the Constitution.

  • @kimmykum1

Really, now? which amendment would that be?

  • @Fredman5551 oh yes, your right. there is no Amendment to the Constitution concerning the Social Security Act and after the 27th where Congress, including Ron Paul, gave themselves automatic payraises - regardless. Must be nice to never have to pay into something yet get a nice retirment package, full top end medical health insurance and prescriptions, and a constantly growing bundle of money each month after only 3 terms to the House or just one to the Senate. Cut everyone else, though

  • @kimmykum1

im asking you! youre the one who made the claim but provided no proof, and then when asked you avoid it. Ron paul has never voted for a pay raise, and is campaigning AGAINST automatic pay raises. Google it. here ill get you started:

    watch?v=vfOLiLpTSfQ.

Its hard to lie on the internet, so please avoid it in the future

  • @kimmykum1

listen first to all of Ron Paul's messages before you vote. You can only vote one time every four years on who should be your president, use it wisely, for once. If you truly care for social safety net, then do what you have to do.

  • Wolf Blitzer: Who is the lesser of two evils, John McCain or Barrack Obama?

Ron Paul: I don't do that. Evil is evil.

Ralph Nader: The lesser of two bads is not good enough for the American people. We need the best!

We must never settle for less, especially when it comes to electing The President of The United States. Look past eloquent speeches and empty rhetoric, and listen to reason, logic and straightforward answers from people who are consistent in what they say and believe in.

  • Kucinich: you're still young. Please consider the rigged rat race again in 2016. I know it's nothing but pain, but we need u like we needed u in 07 & 08 to impeach the perfidious tyrants who usurped our nation's laws & trounced the world beneath their taloned feet.

200 years of revisionist corporatist history cannot erase those glorious moments in the Congressional record & the docs u entered to support the unassailable charges. Every election cycle needs more Pauls, Perots, Naders, Kuciniches!

  • Wolf Blitzer: Who is the lesser of 2 evils: John McCain or Barack Obama?

Ron Paul: I don't do that. Evil is evil. If you vote for 1 that you think is a little bit less - actually you get tricked into that. You think that if you vote for a Republican to balance the budget, they're worse than the Democrats [think George W. Bush]. You vote for Democrat to end the wars and they're worse than the Republicans [think Barack Obama]!"

If that is not a word of truth, black is white and white black.

  • Wolf Blitzer is the biggest Jackwad.

  • These guys are outstanding. Obama and McCain are pure, unbridled evil. They are killing our country. Ron Paul and Ralph Nader would be the dream team. Ron Paul in 2012.

  • Ron Paul & Ralph Nader vs. New World Order

New World Order wins. Flawless victory.

  • We should have the best person for president every time. Enough of this lesser of 2 evils BS, America! Just as each branch of our government is a check/balance for the others, so are 'We the People' to our representative servants. Make a statement by voting for the person who espouses the views most closely adherant to our constitution... every time. No matter what! I got duped into the McCain thing last time. My vote would've been better spent on a write in. Ron Paul 2012 without question!

  • 4:11 That's why I want Dr. Paul to be my president.

  • Looking at wolf I see a caption above his head, "I'm a Smug Tool and I don't care what you like"

    Regardless: Ron Paul 2012

  • "I want to change the system" no truer words spoken. He truly is looking out for me.

    Ron Paul 2012

  • ...wait ahhh second just realized everybody who voted for Obama in 08 didnt know about ron paul already like me so this time around Ron Paul is sure to win!!!!!!

  • would you men support the douche or the turd sandwich?

  • I don't do that. Evil is Evil, don't get tricked. People are sick and tired. No lesser. Not good enough. We need the best. Unrealistic a third party, you kidding me. Why two parties, why can't we have who we want?

  • and no one listened. Are you listening now? Go ahead plug your ears and you will wear handcuffs to your bank.

  • Ralph you didn't steal any votes you fucking earned them.

  • when their powers combine we have freedom

  • Comment removed

  • Dr. Ron Paul has an Epic following.. R[̲̅ə̲̅٨̲̅٥̲̅٦̲̅]uTioN

  • I also think there are not enough parties.... We need more parties... Support the "Party for More Parties" Party... and party for freedom..!!! This message not endorsed by any canidate. Lol

  • Ron Paul holds the ideas of the future and honesty!

  • Jesse Ventura, Ron, and Ralph imagine that. I dont believe in voting cuz i understand the rigged system but imagine those three. Only in our dreams. Like the american dream.

  • Ralph, the perfect president, Ron Paul & Nadar, yes a dream team.

  • obama + ron paul?

  • if Ron Paul wins it all is there a good chance that Nader's coming along?

  • the current politic system in the US sucks for real, no matter if or if not both parties serves corporations

they are the major players and theres only 2 choices, sucks ! there should be many more parties

honestly, i think the US political system is the worse in north america

  • Are you guys delusional? Ralph Nader acknowledges the inequity among the rich and poor, and as president, he would champion the poor. Ron Paul is for eliminating the government, and government programs that specifically HELP the poor. They are on opposite ends of the political spectrum. Holy fuck, Americans are retarded. They applaud their own stupidity.

    -cheers from London

  • @katesofly What government program that he wants to eliminate hurts the poor? You are the stupid one.

    -fuck off from USA

  • @katesofly - if there was an economy, these government handouts wouldn't be necessary. Bring the troops home!

  • @katesofly Instead of these government programs that supposedly help the poor; why not give them a good job with pay that doesn't degrade the second they receive it because it's too watered-down because it has to prop up programs like food stamps that make food prices rise?

  • these 2 guys are highly evolved above and beyond your typical D.C. thugs in government

  • Ron Paul or Riot 2012 =^)

  • RON will win if you all vote!

The only way we can lose, if if you dont!

  • Ron Paul is a socio and economic genius.

  • These 2 gentlemen have more brains than the rest of all our entire government. May GOD HELP US!

  • It's rare to have two politicians who have honest differences. I respect both of them for being consistent and intelligent, and not giving into the media hype.

  • U HAVE TO BE A REGISTERED REPUBLICAN IN MOST STATES TO VOTE FOR RON PAUL IN THE PRIMARY ELECTION WHICH IS IMPORTANT + U NEED 2 DO ASAP! GET HELP CHANGING PARTY AT BLUEREPUBLICAN. ORG which I found to be most helpful by ur own state. u can change parties by printing a postage paid mail-in form. U HAVE ONLY UP TO 12 WEEKS BEFORE PRIMARY CONVENTION IN SOME STATES!! HE NEEDS 2 WIN THE PRIMARY ELECTION IN ORDER TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT IN THE GENERAL ELECTION. COPY/PASTE + SHARE EVERYWHERE!! RONPAUL2012!

  • Man, I can't get enough of these guys! Them and Dennis Kucinich would make great presidents.

  • @marinecorps29 Check out Gary Johnson. He is pretty up there with Paul and Nader in the same beliefs.

  • @Ievolovel Yeah Johnson's great too. All of them are true patriots.

  • Omg, Ron Paul and Ralph Nader are a dream team for America. Thinking about the combined brilliance of the two makes me jizz

  • @ltdshred1 LOLOLOL!! I felt my pants get a lil wet as well. WHen I reached down there it was........JIZZ!!

  • @ltdshred1 I agree, but the real orgasm, my friend, is a Paul / Kucinich ticket. That is the gold of the gold for restoration.

  • I'm Swedish... the media in our nation, still socialist despite 5 years of conservative reign, has always been firmly on Obama's side. I AM NOT! Wake up! Register as republicans, vote for Ron Paul all the way into the White House! Your national debt and expenditure has skyrocketed with Obama in office. Romney and the other republizards offer no viable alternative - ONLY RON PAUL HAS THE DECENCY, HONESTY AND INTELLECT TO BRING THE US BACK ON TRACK!

RP 2012! For the sake of all of us.

  • I would want US citizenship just to vote for Ron Paul. Because this shit will get worse in western nations daily,..if we don't change foreign policy and economical intervention of states into economy fast and get control of big banks back. It will make Wiemar inflation and the great depression look quite tame in comparison,...

  • "The lesser of two evils is not good enough for the American people. We need the best."

    LIKE A BAWSS.

  • We can do without Nader but I believe RP MUST become president if our country is to have any sort of stable future. Yes, his propositions are incredibly difficult to pull off, and terrifying to lazy fat cats who fear change or loss of power no matter how positive, but they are realistic solutions. I really wish I could do more to help his campaign, but I'm just trying to keep afloat myself. Of course he has my vote '12.

  • @sil3nst ralph nader fights harder for much more of what ron paul believes in than obama or any republican candidate ever would

  • Ron Paul actually said that "your neighbors and church" should take care of your medical care. WTF??? How can ANYBODY take him seriously? He's OUT OF HIS MIND!!

  • @FyodorMDostoyevsky

Way to completely misrepresent what he said. His point was that if it wasn't for government involvement, health care costs would likely be much cheaper and you wouldn't need the government to guarantee you care.

  • @rapsody- I'm not even talking about this video. He has said a thousand times, including in the debates, that when he was practicing medicine before government supported health care, people without insurance still got care with the help of their neighbors and the church. Sure... he says what you're saying, but he also says what I'm saying. If he's not telling people they can find help from neighbors and their church when he does away with gov't health care, then what is he saying??

  • @FyodorMDostoyevsky

My understanding is that hes not interested in cutting money from the budget for health care if he becomes president as a priority, he wants to go after military spending overseas and do away with certain government agencies/bureaucracies but theoretically he is against government health care. I don't agree with him on everything either but at least he answers questions truthfully and is consistent. I personally think those are good qualities for a president.

  • Mad Respect for Nader and Paul. I didn't realize that all these 3rd party candidates agreed on those four issues that nader mentioned. Bring the troops home, protect civil liberties, end the debt, end the fed. Those are the only four issues I really care about, I'll support any of them.

  • Ron Paul is a libertarian...how can we have libertarians who don't believe in government doing anything??? how does that work???

  • @dalecampbl9 work

  • @dodgeball441 okay, that was insightful

  • NADER NADER NADER NADER

  • It's really sad that the right people never get put in power. *Sigh* These guys are the last of the old school guard, grizzled veterans and founding fathers in our present time. Instead, all too many people who shouldn't even be voting, do so based on the 'status quo' and the 'pretty faces' without knowing one iota about what they stand for. It's just pathetic, and i agree 100% about how ridiculous some of the debates are, arguing over the most petty of shit, like who mows whose lawn....pfff.

  • Paul/Nader 2012 the green tea party =D

  • My dream ticket: Ron Paul/Ralph Nader. They can combine forces and ideals to create the super-detoxifying "Green Tea" Party! Paul/Nader 2012!!!

  • @pfez80 lol I like it.

  • @pfez80 That's an ingenious name for a third party run.

But if he runs third party, the best ticket would be Paul/Ventura, or Ventura/Paul. I was in Minnesota when Ventura won (then moved to Paul's Texas) and have seen no better challenger of the status quo. He won with basically no money and just on his own name and talking ability. He'd tear people apart. Kinda like good cop/bad cop. Ventura's the bad cop who'll smack down the badmouthers.

  • @pfez80 Our nation needs more real conservatives, and real liberals rather than all the neo-cons who infest both parties.

  • Ron Paul is the only hope! so bad that media takes no responsibility for promoting puppets of corporate power....

  • FORGET YOU, Communist News Network! Nader Hurting obama headline at Bottom while they were talking BS!

  • Want the proof? Obama Osama Biden (Bi)nla(den). It's more than a coincidence and I have the whole story you won't find anywhere else

  • What does it say about our political system that two honest, inteligent men with integrity like Ron Paul and Ralph Nader will never be elected for president? Wake up America!

  • There you go, Ron Paul said what we have all come to wake up and realize...For the most part there is NO difference between Democrats and Republican's....The system is rigged and regardless of who get's into office they are still working for the same master's. The ONLY person who has a chance to stand up to the elitist's and their cronies is Dr. Paul. He speaks out openly against them even when it involves disparaging his own party. That is true courage. If we all support him he CAN do this.

  • @juiceyjas23 Said: "There you go, Ron Paul said what we have all come to wake up and realize...For the most part there is NO difference between Democrats and Republicans."

Yes, so unfortunately true. I distinctly remember Ralph Nader stating this opinion in 1995. And, as a liberal progressive {what else is there in a democracy?} hearing this, I told myself, "Nah, he must exaggerating for relevance, he must be firing up his supporters/donors" and 4-5 other rationales. He's going senile.

    Wrong!

  • @MLP88 I know....its actually quite bizarre how you can go through presidencies of the past few decades and see how regardless of Dem or Republican they just tend to recycle the same "behind the scenes" characters, who we have come to learn "really" control many of the major decisions. In Canada it's a little bit different BUT the common theme remains that its all about "following the $ trail" & you'll see the same ppl wrking both sides of the political spectrum to their benefit & our detriment

  • @juiceyjas23 Well said. One wonders. Just how ethically different are politicians from the rest of us. Maybe one unifying trait among them is the grandiosity required to put your family through The DC Reality Show.

The dirtiest of politics comes when these guys lose an election and go into ready-waiting high-paying "consulting" jobs, so often in the very industries taxpayer's elected them to reform.

  • @MLP88 Right back at you :) That is ANOTHER major issue that rarely gets talked about. The fact that politicians often get plumb jobs in the private sector based on backroom deals and corrupt actions that rarely see the light of day......and vice versa Wall street cronies and others are often given jobs in the gov't where they are able to manipulate the system and bend the laws to further their greed fueled agenda's. We saw this blatantly during the transition from Bush to Obama highlighted by

  • @MLP88 The market crash and subsequent bailout. Films such as Michael Moore's "Capitalism, a love story" and Jesse Ventura's show "conspiracy theory" do a great job of highlighting just how deeply rooted this "revolving door" and "buddy system" among the crooked politicians and the Wall street bankers (Paulson, Geitner, Summers etc.) is. The bizarre thing is that most American's know this stuff now, they are pissed about it BUT NOTHING EVER REALLY HAPPENS. Its so frustrating to watch. Everybody

  • @MLP88 is aware that there was not ONE criminal charge laid in connection with the whole bailout scandal, and that alot of the money is unaccounted for. But like with so many other travesties that have been rammed down the American people's throats (and for that matter pretty much any country you pick in the world, including Canada) ppl just seem so numb and worn down by all the corruption that they seem to throw up their hands and take the "oh well, what can you do" mentality. I really hope

  • @MLP88 this recent 99%, occupy wallstreet movement, is the start of something big that will culminate with Dr. Paul getting elected as president...........but i'm a bit to jaded to put to much faith into really believing it will happen. That being said I do sense something Big happening. I just pray it can be sustained.

  • Ralph Nader rules

  • R Nader, R Paul, Sen Grayson, D Kucinich ......2012!

PLZ, America, no more phoney joker liar-puppet sycophantic servants of the mega-mafia, merely posing and promising to serve, be loyal and honest to the 99%, while they have, in fact, ( havn't you?) sold your soul to the mega-mafioso system and WHOever it is that runs it, for money, but, have lost, or never had any real empathy for the poor, the oppressed, the forclosed, the looked down up, by criminal fakes in $6,666,66 designer suits! : /

  • I'm down for Ron&Ralph for 2012.....the rest can got straight to hell, man.

  • @GuerillaInThaMidst Dennis is ok. But most of em (except for, ironically, Paul's friends and supporters) should.

  • WRITE VOTE FOR RON PAUL 2012 ON EVERY DOLLAR YOU HAVE AND CIRCULATE!

  • a two party political system is only one party more than communism...and i dont see any real difference between the two parties..so maybe??.....

  • dont forget mike gravel

  • Jesse Ventura ftw

  • Nader is the real deAL!!!

kucinich and paul are nader wannabes!

  • @obaidCarkey ron paul is NOT a nader wannabe. hes sitting right next to the man and asked if he would try to get him votes he responds witha flat "no". this guy is the man. no bullshit.

  • @tehgreatist

    thats not what i mean!

kucinich and paul's ideas of transparency and nearly every other idea and image cultivated have been copied from ralph nader!

Ron paul is a fake because he is a GOP creation to monopolize and attract the nader voter's dissent.

just like bachmann was created to counter a possible hillary clinton run for the presidency.

As is sarah palin, as is the tea party and also joe the plumber. All to hide the fact that they lost their basic

    principles!--all the same!

  • @obaidCarkey what? you seem to be confused about what ron paul stands for. he is a strict constitutionalist, always has been, and wants to take us back to our roots and give more freedom. to lump him in with sarah palin and joe the plumber is not only an insult, its stupid.

  • @tehgreatist

then what is the tea party about?--exactly the same things you mentioned!

this back to basics stuff is just bullshit because in the end it only means more taxbreaks for the rich and more military spending!-------its nothing new!--old as hell and all lies!

Republicans thought americans would fall for sarah palin until everybody saw how dumb she was and it backfired and nw they have others like perry and bachmann saying the exact same things!

  • @obaidCarkey once again, you dont seem to have a very good grasp on what ron paul stands for. to imply that he would increase military spending is hilarious, you obviously havent listened to him speak much.

  • @tehgreatist

listen: i was once a ron paul-supporter too!

that is until i read what he really stands for and i woke up out of my dreams!

he is not as independent as you think!-he is and remains a hardcore republican!

don't fall for his stories about paying for his own tuition and his founding history stories etc.

There is only one independent candidate and he has been working to improve america for 50 years!

HIS NAME IS RALPH NADER and yes...he is an arab!--his work is epic and genuine!

  • @obaidCarkey just because he is republican does NOT mean he supports the war.

  • @tehgreatist

not about the war!--no one supports the war anymore!

    its about being independent!

lieberman left the democratic party, ron paul never did leave the GOP and never will!

Ron paul is as republican as bush & cheney!

  • @obaidCarkey ok? well you said ron paul would mean more military spending, i corrected you. i KNOW hes a republican. you think thats a secret? hes running as a republican. he is MORE republican than bush and cheney, they are neo-conservative.

  • @tehgreatist

RON PAUL is just the bait!

vote him and get the industrial military to run the country!

ron paul has his obligations and dues to the GOP!-his cabinet will be full of republicans!

ralph nader has only the US public to answer to!--thats what i mean with independence!

  • @obaidCarkey RON PAUL has no OBLIGATIONS you moron and that is well documented.. ( he is a 12 term congressman, if anything he has a lot of collecting to do),, and by the way , incase you didn't notice,, the MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX is doing gang busters business with this president.. 1.5 TRILLION dollars more.. in 3 yearsa. 3000 more deaad soldiers.. and 3 new WARs

  • @obaidCarkey You did well to defend nader's consistent & tireless service to this rather tuned-out, spoiled & recently ungrateful country.

Ron Paul fans tend to be young, brash and bold. But politically impressionable to the unelectable gadfly that never gets deeply rooted with a serious national campaign staff despite taking in donor contributions.

He's a post-90's Gingrich clone in that respect.

Who doesn't like Ron Paul? But he likes to win large spectacle arguments over elections.

  • @MLP88

The GOP is very good at taking all sides but in the end it always betrays the people and serves the interests of the top 1%.

Nader is the cold turkey-treatment the junkie that is the US can't handle!--Americans are too dumb for nader and they want to stay fat and lazy and in debt!

Its Nader now or the rise of China/India later that is going to be a far worse awakening for the USA!

  • @TheSatiringSocialist this is america bro, you can vote for whomever you want..

  • Ron Paul 2012.....best wishes from India.I'm rooting for u Ron,i hope more Americans can see the light and save themselves from the neo-con Republican trash and bickering democrats who have taken over the White House and Wall Street

  • @warmaker911 best wishes from thailand, where expats love the tea party.

  • @warmaker911

I'd say Wall Street has taken over White House and created neo-con idiots!

  • @TheSatiringSocialist thats his choice amigo.

  • Ndar is a pro reguulation joke

  • tea party 2012

  • Ron Paul is the only candidate that has STAYED with his core beliefs and run on them for the 2012 Presidency with a solid track record to MATCH...the others are just wolves in sheep clothing with a fickle history to match their pathetic stance. Ron is a wonderful example of what america was founded on...the others? are the shit that america is hated for. WAKE UP AND SUPPORT FREEDOM and your LIBERTY.

  • Paul/Johnson 2012!

  • "is there anything left that for the American people to decide about their country?"

jesus, that is pretty profound actually, even when you already know full well that we haven't had control of the country for more than decades.

  • I would like to see them run together. I think they could both do some good for the country.

  • First of all, appearing on CNN? Big mistake.

Second, if you compare Paul and Nader, Nader's way ahead in practical solutions to a wide range of problems. All I hear from Paul is the standard "less govt." Libertarian line.

What the hell does THAT mean? I don't want vague soundbites. I want actual logical solutions. Which is why I voted for Nader/Gongalez in 2008.

  • @whereismybailouttv Ron Paul doesn't do soundbites at all not in 2008 and not now in 2012 not ever.

Since your on YouTube the answer is within the search query for the answer and on the main search engine to look for your answers so simple.

Ron Paul only for the Republican nomination then Presidency!

    For Liberty!

  • CNN pushing the voters to vote for the lesser of two evils... hate the media

  • good lord, look at how stupid wolf is. Dr Paul is trying to have a serious discussion and wolf just keeps jumping in with dumb petty questions. The media is an absolute joke!!

  • @wooofums Thank you! Wolf Blitzer is all about selling his brand; he's not about educating the public. He is not going to upset the apple cart and try a different approach to informing the public. Television news is the worst way to become informed on politics and government.

  • The top rated comment is idiotic. Ron Paul and Ralph Nader for 2012? I hope you don't mean together... Ralph Nader is a socialist and Ron Paul is a libertarian. They're opposites. That being said... RALPH NADER 2012. Fuck the right wing.

  • @GrockJake I think the top rated comment make a lot of sense. Both seem to be honest men, at least. And they both see that the current system is corrupt.

  • @jonasoblouk If you think it makes sense, then you don't know a thing about politics. Ron Paul is a right-wing extremist. He wants our government to regulate business less than it already is. What Ron Paul wants is to make this current system worse by removing government and allowing our corporate CEO owners to reveal their faces. Nader wants a mixed system and is very intelligent. Ron Paul is a joke. The retarded, unpopular version of Bush. They're nothing alike.

  • @GrockJake Ron Paul does not believe as you state. Read his book, "Liberty Defined". He believes in more corporate accountability... and consequences, not bailouts. He believes in laws, not regulations that are open to bribes and manipulation by government cronies and buddy hiring. He also wants to remove the laws giving corporations the same equality under the law as US citizens. They need to be more highly accountable than citizens and not provided the same liberties as citizens.

  • @GrockJake I belive it was In 2008, Democrat, Dennis Kucinich stated that if were nominated and the Presidential candidate for the Democratic party, he would choose Ron Paul as VP. Kucinich is another very honest guy with integrity, like Paul and Nader. While they all have a different perspectives, they are all at least true to their word and consistent on their voting record. Kucinich has sold out a bit lately, but I believe he is facing huge pressure from his own party.

  • @GrockJake

You call Ron Paul a joke but support someone who thinks government regulators can be free from corporate influence? Ask Bernie Madoff's investors how much good the SEC did them.

  • Comment removed

  • @rapsody Unfettered capitalism often leads to a system of monopolies that oppress the majority of the country in incredible ways. Period. I'll take my chances relying on government regulators. If laws are created and people are held accountable, then anything is possible. What I am proposing isn't to be mistake nas large government; it should be seen as the people coming together and using the government as a server for power and accountability.

  • @GrockJake

That depends what you define as "unfettered capitalism", that's a term that's thrown around a lot by liberals and progressives but never really clearly defined. If you go by the dictionary definition of capitalism, that is the complete opposite of monopoly creation in that it is driven by true competition and a monopoly can only exist when created by the consumers themselves. Almost every true monopoly in history was created by government intervention.

  • @rapsody It isn't the "government" regulating people. It's the citizens of the country regulating. It isn't the "government" create laws. It's the citizens. Thats your problem. You've got it stuck in your head that the government is an entity that is forever evil. I view the government as a platform for the citizens to enforce their decisions among eachother. Right now, the American government isn't for the people. I agree with that. I support reform, not removal.

  • @GrockJake

This is another disagreement I have with your way of thinking, you seem unable to separate the government from the citizenry and realize that they are not the same thing, even in a pure democracy. That type of thinking is what eventually leads to authoritarianism because it rejects individualism in favor of some collective ideal that we are the government. But that's a much too complex argument for youtube, lets just agree to disagree.

  • I don't see how Paul Nader would work. They would end the wars, legalize drugs and that's it. They would have nothing else in common. That wouldn't be enough to fill 2 years of presidency. I think something like balancing the budget is almost as important as ending wars, but Nader wouldn't be in favour of smaller government.

Then there's abortion, the gay stuff, education, medicare, social security, regulation, and so on and so on.

  • @seppsters most of tha last stuff is up to the states

  • It is ok to disagree about what is best for the american people. Unless you actually believe that the federal reserve and the patriot act are in tthe people's best interest. Then you are either brainwashed, or are being paid by the corporates like the rest of washington. Good to see at least two guys care about us.

  • Doesn't Nader defend a heavier state, neo-socialism ?

  • @seppsters Doesn't Paul support unfettered capitalism, which ultimately leads to corporatism? Hmmm, big business vs. big government? I'll take my chances with big government.

  • @aegisforex mate. "unfettered capitalism" is without government interventionism. Corporatism is the opposite. You're positing that the existence of something will ultimately lead to its opposite.

  • @aegisforex

Actually historical evidence shows the opposite, but that wasn't my point. Why are they together if they defend completely different things ?

  • die wolfe you neocon bastard

  • That is like assisted suicide... choice either a death drug or the electric chair? Either way, you are dead.

  • I laughed so hard from 3:10 - 3:16 when he completely disrepects the entire system. Go Ronny!!!
