Your chest rune and head rune could be swapped with one another so you could have a total of +2+1 sword and still having 50 hp total, because sup. vigor doesn't care where on the armor it is.
For farming? I haven't played much of a ranger character, but I just made one today, I'll play through, and search some articles, see what I come up with :)
Yes, you can, a Paragon hero is recommended heavily, however, I get by using Koss, and assigning him a Paragon secondary profession. Then I get him the skill "Make Haste!" and max out his Command attribute, "Make Haste!" is the only spell your hero will need for this to get by. :)
