Loving the home hung setup. I bought my rings a few months ago and built a small frame to hand them from my attic space, same deal, I couldn't screw anything into the ceiling. Nice work on the seated cross, I find it much harder than regular, but I haven't been able to hit full cross position just yet.
There are easier ways to hang rings but I was not able to set anything into the ceiling so I had to build what you see. It wasn't too difficult just a bunch of 2x4's screwed together.
What exercise do i do in order to be able to perform the Iron Cross? I have the rings and everything but I can't hold it once I get past the 45 degree angle.
get some loops to put your forearms through. I used old neck ties and attached them right above the ring then you just slide your arm through and grab the rings like normal. This will make getting into position much easier. good luck this one takes allot of time and effort.
I know I train at a proper gymnastics gym and at this point in my iron cross it doesn't make too much difference. a couple months ago it certainly did, but I can still do 3 cross reps(no pause in cross) I can do what i did in this vid on proper rings no problem.
nice, but try to lift your legs up just a couple of inches. and be shure to point your toes throughout the entire cross, but the height of your shoulders is pretty much perfect, good work :)

those straps are really short. It is a lot harder with longer straps.

Sick progress, and music in the background = badassery.
