PassionForMusic, "yes" Robin in my sister. I wish I had a copy of the video of me and my sister but I don't. Do you have a copy? I would love to see it again.... buddy
@buddymatic Yes - I have the spring of 1989 episode where you and Robin appeared together on VHS. I will get the VHS episode transferred to DVD in the coming months and send it to you as a gift. Hopefully, you and Robin will receive the precious media before Christmas.-:) I will need a mailing address. What was the name of a female Hispanic looking dancer, who appeared on Soul Train from [87-89]? She was on stage doing her thing when Bobby Brown performed "My perogative" in 1988. Peace - out.
Thanks PassionForMusic68 for checking out my video. Yes, I was a Soul Train dancer in the mid 80s, The segment you saw of me doing the question and answer was with my sister Robin. I did the Soul Train Scramble Board twice during my run on the show. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you find more Soul Train dancers on You Tube and Facebook. They are everywhere (lol). buddy
Buddy: I am a huge Soul Train fan from the late 80s era; I have several VHS reels of Soul Train shows in my music collection. I was searching the Net for info on the Soul Train dancers of the period and found your informative and soulful Buddymatic offerings. I didn't recognize your photo as a Soul Train dancer at first glance. I was recently watching an '89 episode with NBA star John Salley gazing at Jennifer. And you & Robin named the Mayor of N.O. in the question segment from Don C - thanks.
@PassionForMusic68 It was nice to learn the names of some of the dancers after 22 years of wondering. Shelia Lewis is a fox with an attitude; Marco looks dapper and fierce; Lou Carr was a court jester on the show and an ace performer. Dap to James, Rick, and all the other dancers on Soul Train I can't name. I hope some of the dancers became business people, craftsmen, and professionals. Buddy by virtue of your Buddymatic offerings and the bonafides in your profile - break a leg.
That would be fantastic PassionForMusic. I look forward to receiving the DVD. Please e-mail me at my personal e-mail address: buddiehopkins@yahoo.com
and I will forward you my mailing address. Thanks so much and take care! Buddy Hopkins

BTW: Was Robin your sister? You guys had similar features. And big props to Don Cornelius for his contribution to the music we love.
