  • can i get a jpg high res background

  • As far as I know the piece has no obligato harpsichord, it's "just" a suite for recorder strings and bc

Ok, I didnt want to start off another endless discussion about phrasing on recorders, but I personally prefer a much shorter phrasing, which reinforces the rhythmical characterictics of the piece much more. Yet, my greatest respect to the performers, a great recording

  • I absolutely adore this piece ... thank you so much for sharing it!

  • 9:21 YouTube audio: Suite for recorder, strings, harpsichord, and basso continuo in A minor TWV55:A3 by Georg Philipp Telemann. Performed by The Parley of Intruments; Featuring Peter Holtslag, treble recorder; Directed by Peter Holman.

March 14, 1681: birth of Georg Philipp Telemann, German composer (d. 1767)

  • Brings back memories...I played this as a flute solo at competition as a 9th grader. Baroque music is very enjoyable to play...not so many accidentals and key changes...lots of very fun runs!

  • Wanted to find a recording of this for years. Thank you so much!

  • Holtslag plays very well
