Wow! Arachnophobia wasn't billed as a 'thrillomedy' in Australia, I remember that. It was a straight out thriller. And it wasn't a thriller, it was crap! It was like that Snakes on a Plane thing. And John Goodman wasn't the hero, he was a 'bit part'!
It's a weird trailer, though...it tricks the audience into thinking that Goodman's the star of the film, when he has a supporting role and doesn't even show up till halfway through! And what's with the "Thrill-omedy" tag? Arachnophobia has some really good comedy moments in it, but there's plenty more scares than laughs...the trailer makes it look much cornier than it actually was!

I have watched nearly every comedy act Sam ever did. Nowhere in any of those acts did he ever even infer that violence against women was okay. What the hell was People magazine smoking to come up with that BS?
It's eerie to hear Sam talk about smashing his car. If only he knew what was in store for him, just two short years later. The world hasn't been the same, and comedy hasn't been funny for me, since he died.
@BigTMan1 You know what? I think I'm gonna use all my money to fund research on time travel and then go back in time to warn Sam not to be on that road that night. The world would be a little better if I could do that. Haha. :) He is sooo missed.
