I wish I could be in Voorthuizen to hear you and meet you in person, but alas, that will have to wait. I am trying to arrange a visit back to the Netherlands sometime this year. What a wonderful organ you are playing - is it one of the Eminent range? I am most interested in the organ you played when you won the Feike Asma competition (Toccata on Psalm 146 by Zwaart. Is it a pipe organ or a Johannus digital one? I could see pipes in the background, but cannot decide what I am hearing. Please respond. You are a wonderful player and hope you may make a trip to England one day to enthral people here.

Hey Branchporter, Yea, we missed Bach, Franck and some others, I think we are set for some great things from van Hoef. Remember in the early videos it looked like his organ was next to the refrigerator? It's been a joy watching him develop. I think all his USA fans should charter at jet to go see his concert.

When I found your first video 3 1/2 years ago, I was so impressed to see a boy who couldn't read music playing Bach "by ear". What a joy it's been watching you learn, advance. and become a professional organist in such a short time!

If I could get the time off work and afford the airfare from Vancouver to Amsterdam, I would love to hear you play live. Unfortunately, that won't be happening, so I really hope there's a lot of good video of you playing at your concert on January 28th. Good luck and and play BIG!
