Man this case is kinda disturbing. I would normally say that Police/Prosecutors should never compromise and make deals with bad guys, but in this particular case, I think they should of since he obviously wasn't the worst criminal out there. He had good character, he even stopped stealing from individual houses over moral reasons, but the police still didnt care.
