My iPod touch upside down so that it would be normal, but then you turned the camera angle upside down at the end,so I had to turn my iPod normally Again XD
just so you know, when there's magnetism pulling you to the ceiling or wall, before you hit the surface, you can equip something other than the iron boots to the slot where they're equipped, and you can walk on the ceiling way faster.
the crystal (material that allows you to walk on walls ect.)could be extremely electro-magnetic hence the sparks coming off of his boot and the need for them to be iron the only reason i can see why he wouldnt be killed by the electro part of the equation is that his feet are oppositly charged making a current therefore keeping him safe
I guess suction boots would make more sense about how he would be able to walk on the ceiling, but then that would make fighting Gorons a whole other story.
You're very nice, man. The only real good quality too. Only walkthrough that i dont mind hearing someone commenting all the time, witch means a lot. Good job.
Ok Idk if it's just me but I always thought that Ooccoo had a pair of boobs.....Albeit very saggy and gross boobs but if thats not what those are then I have no idea wtf I'm looking at.
@supersonic2394161 iron is one of the most, if not the most, easily magnetically atrracted metals in the world. I am not trying to badmouth you or anything, but you really should check your facts.
Not sure if its in the GC version too, but there is a glitch which lets you walk on the ceiling without having the iron boots attached. You have to basically pause the game when you are being pulled up by the magnetism, and on the select menu, yuo deselect the boots allowing you to run around the ceiling.
Dude! I think that enemy you used the Shield Attack on at the beginning of the video was a lava-dwelling Octorock! It attacked just like one and was defeated just like one as well!
Or even more questionable is how the iron boots don't pull you to the bottom of the water even if you aren't wearing them simply because they are in your possession.
I've always wondered, especially in this part of the game, how Link's hat stays on his head. Judging by the time period, I'm pretty sure elastic hadn't been invented yet...
@NAPIEWOCKI I doubt you're still wondering, but I'm pretty sure the Picto Box, Magic Armor, three Empty Bottles, All-Purpose Bait, trade items, that mask that Mrs. Marie gives you for giving her 40 Joy Pendants, the Giant Wallet, a larger Quiver, a larger Bomb Bag, and most spoils are the only items you don't NEED (and are avoidable).
Capture Card: Dazzle DVC100, comes with the Dazzle DVD Recorder off of Amazon. Captured using VirtualDub compressed with HuffYUV, rendered in Sony Vegas as .wmv at 4 Mbps...Though you could easily get away with 2 Mbps or less if you need to conserve filesize for uploading speed.
The shield is really unnecessary imo. I just kept going without it when my first shield got burned up. You have to have the shield for the shield attack lesson tho, so I was forced to equip the Hylian shield at that point.
I am not sure about the sides, though on the ceiling it could be possible if it had somewhat of a pressured kill switch. When so much force (The force of an average man lifting his leg) is applied beyond the natural force applied by gravity then it will null the boot. How you lift a leg is simillar to how you lift anything; counter-weight. So then more force would be applied to the opposing boot, perhaps sometype of function to increase the limts of that one so you don't fall with one leg on it.
The only problem is, when walking on the ceiling the force of gravity pulls Link away from the boots. It would need to use the force of the magnetism pulling Link towards the ceiling minus the force of gravity (to get the total force exerted "up") but otherwise the counterweight idea could probably work.
But I seriously doubt Bo was capable of such programming. ;)
Thinking about this...what if Link stuggled too much to pull his leg up and he let his boots stray too far away from the magnetic path. One boot would be stuck to the ceiling as the other would be pulled to the ground, probably pulling link's leg off. He would be doomed to hang there! D:
the REAL problem is that once he picked up his foot, the super-heavy iron boots would cause the boots to fall back down to earth again, either splitting him in half along his spine or ripping his leg out of its socket.
This whole walking sideways and upside down is that one thing I couldn't wait to do in the game. I probably watched the preview at the beginning like five times before I started playing, just to see that one part.
it's fun watcing your lps but it's also gets me confused because i have the wii version so it's merrored i've alrealdy beetin this dungon but it sill get me a little dissy
forget muscle strength... if link by himself is light enought to be sent flying back by gorons... how could his shin bones survive impacrs from speeding gorons?
why is it reversed on ur game the whole thing is a mirrior image

What bothers me about walking on the ceiling and walls is that Link's hat keeps "hanging" in the direction of Link's legs instead of the ground.
I mean, there's no metal in the tip of the hat, right? =P
