Here is the Pete Carroll's pyramid of success........ when the NCAA is closing in to slam your program for PETE'S MISTAKE........take another job and leave those he left behind to suffer the punishment.........YOU'RE A REAL CLASS ACT THERE PETEY..........
Pete Carroll, what a hypocrite. Rants about Sanchez leaving, Pete leaves for Seatle wins the division with a losing record and gets owned in the 2nd round playoffs.
@Salvatore403 I can't stand him, but Carroll was gone either way. With the problems coming down, he was either going to resign on be fired. Unfortunately (as I would love to have seen him fired), he was smart enough to figure that out and bolted. Sanchez on the other hand had barely 1 season as a starter under his belt and jumped ship. And you know what? He wasn't ready. Look at last night's game. He blew that one. Blew the one the week before.
He's right about Sanchez not being ready as he should be. He's wrong that Sanchez won't be successful because he didn't know that Sanchez would get drafted by a team with VERY strong defensive support to get him the ball.
lets keep in mind that you unsuccessfully coached the Jets Pete, so lets evaluate that information a bit. lets also evaluate the information that you would leave USC to coach Seattle Pete. now lets evaluate the information at hand that you should not be talking into a microphone at a press conference.

Mark Sanchez I wish you as much success as Jim Plunket who was an American QB who was also of Mexican descent and he won the Heisman Trophy and led the Oakland Raiders to 2 Super Bowl wins.Go Jets and God Bless America.
@zwivex Ups,sorry I forgot about Mr.Tom Flores ,the first Hispanic QB(1959)in professional football and he retired and became a Coach and won 2 Super Bowl rings with the Oakland Raiders and then with Los Angeles Raiders.God bless America.
@Maplebangeek Flores became the Raiders' head coach in 1979, following John Madden's retirement. Flores then became the NFL's first minority head coach to win a Super Bowl, winning twice - Super Bowl XV with the Oakland Raiders and Super Bowl XVIII with the Los Angeles Raiders, the latter victory being the only such in the history of NFL football in L.A. Greetings from Washington.D.C.
@Jefgg agreed. even during his years at USC, i could see him trying to keep his excrement from coming out of his mouth whenever he was interviewed. especially now when interviewed about reggie bush. liar, snake, crybaby, you name it. i hope he fails in seattle.
no matter what sanchez does this supernerds always gonna find something. hes done more than jamarcus russell did in 3 years. and way more than ryan leaf.
so it seems to me..HES THE MAN..brady is good but if they tape week 1 of 2008 and got caught..you know for sure they taped the other playoffs, division and SB. really ANYONE could win with spytapes..lol..sorry billcheat..if you mad after reading this..FUCK YOU!
What he's really saying is that Mark is special,. And that he does not want to lose him for the upcoming year .He knows that when Mark is done with his career that he will surpass every quarterback that ever put on the Trojan colors.
It's obvious why Pete wanted Mark back. Give Barkley another year to develop... probably redshirt and have him one more year, and he knew he had nobody else after that. Looks like Mark made the right decision, while Taylor Mays got screwed over some!
Now the sanctions are coming and Pete is nowhere to be found! I can't say I feel bad for a guy who will still get paid millions to play a sport, but I do think Taylor Mays got screwed good.
@jetsfan927 Why? No offense but just like Sanchez he coulda came out but instead he stayed in school another year. Not Pete Carolls choice not like he strong armed him into it. Mays needs to play and shutup hes an adult now.
Sanchez wasn't all that bad in the AFC championship game. its just hard to beat the doctor: Peyton Manning! oh.. and I guess that the colts defense ain't that bad either :)
nope never said that they got lucky though some luck has to be there in order to win a big game like that. much credit to the saints for finishing off the year strong and making Manning look sluggish courtesy of the Tracy Porter pick-6 .
difference between sanchez and russell. Sanchez has a brain. russell may of had an unbelievable talent but he never had the brain to be a young QB maybe in a few years hell be good but sanchez has truly impressed
Russel will never be like Sanchez Im a Steeler fan and I can tell that Mark plays to win, Russell plays because of the money, Russell is selfish Mark is a team Player. Russell will get released from the Raiders and maybe never be in another uniform ever again, Ja'Marcus sucks he played in a great school and was a system QB, Mark is a better player give him 1 year and he will be like Big ben Superbowl baby, go A.F.C thats my take.
What the hell you on about, i was fucking saying that!!!!!! i tottally agree with you bout jamarcus being a lazy fat shit, but you can never say this guy didnt have talent. fucking hell. im a dolphins fan so i should hate sanchez but i just cant help like him. my fav player after reggie bush. but i truly hope russell goes to dolphins and quits eating burgers. he has over 15 yards on any other QB ad around 5mph more velocity so he should be everything just not a brain.
@littleroots I think pete left U.S.C because if you notice they have not been a contender for the BCS and everytime they play a team not in the pac-10 they play weak teams, Im sorry but the Big 10 is over rated and he always played big-10 teams he only played soft SEC teams like Auburn and Arkansas he never played Texas in regular season he never played Florida in regular season he knows he would of gotten smacked, Pete im happy for you but once again you made the wrong choice, Go Bama roll tide
LOL @ aggie fan trying pimping Texas without checking facts first. Norm Chow left USC following 2004 season. Lane Kiffin and Steve Sarkisian ran the USC offense in 2005 season...which culminated in the lost to Texas.
Norm Chow was Tennessee Titans' offensive coordinator in 2005.
12 td's and 20 picks with a qb rating of 63 is not success the jets made the playoff because of defense and a strong running game not because of mark sanchez if anything he hurt the team in the regular season. im not saying he wont be a successful qb but having one good game and winning one playoff game does not make you successful
What you talking about? We have the #1 rush offense because of the line and Sanchez. Teams that run the ball well and play great defense wins championships. Ravens did in 2000, Patriots in 2001. Bucs in 2004. Giants in 2007 look up the stats they don't lie.
Roll Tide !!!! I've been a fan since they had Shawn Alexander running the rock, If if peete is smart he will get another Bama runner like Ingram to run the rock, Roll Tide and Go Pittsburgh Steeler.
You got that right. Mark Ingram plays hard. Their are a few more Great guys, Maze etc. their now, that will shine this coming season. Thanks ' You Have a Great Day ...
No, if he's smart he'll get Chad Hutchinson and Walter Jones to block for a mediocre back by Alexander. Hutch went to Minnesota and Alexander tanked. How did Minnesota's running game turnout?
You should stay with USC, you don't know nothing about the NFL, I remember your time with the NY Jets, you are a College Coach Pete, Sanchez prove you wrong, why going to the NFL?
If you thought he got upset about Mark leaving, just imagine how disappointed he was when he got to the NFL he thought it was ok to eat hot dogs during the game.
@themrschantz no he isn't he relies soley on his defence and ground attack to get him anywhere look at all of his ints 2nd most by a rookie qb ever he needs a colour chart to know when to throw the ball. his team is successful he isnt. he was good at college he still has a way to go to be called successful in the pros
@themrschantz One good season for the Jets does not make Mark Sanchez a success. The Jets did well despite Mark Sanchez's short-comings, primarily due to their running game and their defense. The Jets certainly didn't ride into the AFC title game because of a QB with 2,444 yards passing, 12 TDs vs 20 INTS and a QB rating of 63.0. Give Mark Sanchez a few more years of mediocrity, and you will not be so high on him.
well hes in the playoffs....making bank...in the NFL....and now instead of a year of college experience...he got a year of NFL experience....soooo yea....i think he made the right decision on that one
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Are you kidding? Mark Sanchez had no part in taking the Jets to the playoffs, if anything he almost hurt their chances.
They're lucky the Colts and Bengals rolled over to allow them a chance at the playoffs. And even then Sanchez had no part in it, it was the running game and Defense that brought the team to the playoffs, anyone under center could've handed off the ball 40 times a game.
what he really means to say is" In collage football we stack a pussy schedule the best dont play unless we have to so it takes 5 years to play like 6 good teams with out the experience of playing even competition we never raise our level of play' except i suck as a coach and still cant beat the weak teams so he needs to stay here HELP ME"
you gotta read my post kid i said he sucks as a coach but all pro bull shiter , its recuting that makes collage teams good ,that's why hes not an NFL coach . Until they have a true play off system and the schools pick 1/2 their opponent's collage football is just for funsies
Interesting because I find the NFL to be the funsies just as much. They are already paid, why do they really need to go all out. The NFL is a waste of FOOTBALL and funds.
and the facts don't support your "sucks as a coach." let's put it this way, Karl Dorrell was fired from UCLA because he couldn't win, but put him in the NFL and hey he's fine. What does that say about the quality of coaches in the NFL?
basically comes down to coaching players vs. running an allstar team.
As a USC fan I was pissed too when Sanchez left early for the NFL. And look how it has worked out for him on the Jets. He has one of the lowest passer ratings in the NFL. He would have been alot better served if he had stayed for another year.
Mark could stay in college and make nothing, or sign with the NFL and never have to work again. Only an idiot stays in college. Watch how much Jimmy Clauson from Notre Dame gonna make. More in his bonus than Pete gonna make in 10 years!
Pete Carroll a total selfish dumb ass , If he flops and we now know he didn't he would still have his singing bonus. That's more than most Americans make in a life time. And to risk it all on an injury in college? im glad USC sucks
your right and ever more reason these guys need to soon as possible , They have a bigger chance of getting hurt then having to work like a dog like the rest of us
I'm a sports fan and i hate to see people get fucked over . that's whats colleges do and college football do to these guys theirs a hand full of college coaches that coach and the others are pro Bullshitters and recruiting experts. pete carroll is at the top of the BS list
With your barrage of comments you must really hate Pete Carroll. UCLA fan? Or do you have other reasons to hate him?
As a response to all of your glorious comments, Sam Bradford stayed for his senior year, got injured and will still be making a crap ton of money in the NFL. Almost every FB player will be injured at some point whether in college or the NFL. The injury doesn't define the success in the NFL, the player defines that success.
I just think hes a total prick and worthless human being that shouldn't be around to influence collage kids, including the one chick he shacked up with
Interesting because the opinions of the players around him doesn't match with your opinion. And we won't get into the discussion of his charitable efforts.
Injuries happens in alot of sport. Its called taking risks in life. That is what makes a person a person. The stats do not lie on how under classmen QB do not have much success in the NFL. Look at Peyton Manning and how that has turned out for him. Sanchez officially only played one year of college. If he would have returned it would have been better for him. Look at Locker at Washington. That kid would have been the #1 QB in this years draft. Other positions you can go to the NFL early.
You need to reed your post u contradict yourself moron.you said "Injuries happens in alot of sport. Its called taking risks in life." then said "If he would have returned it would have been better for him ITS never better to take zero dollars for a 30 million plus guaranteed singing bonus over a choice of getting hurt and getting nothing
And you obviously need to read my post carefully. You are only looking at the money figures in sports because of the guaranteed. What I meant for Sanchez returning for his senior year would have been better because it would have PREPARED him better!!!!!!!!!!! Typical toothless SEC fan that doesnt understand. No wonder Jamarcus Russell comes from that conference. Got his guaranteed money and is an absolute joke. Oh by the way he was an underclassman. Do you see the trend?
I dont know how old you are and if you still believe in santa claus But in life money is every thing ,,anything and everything always comes down to money and that's why the schools hate to see their money tree leave, pardon da pun
Money comes and money goes. Alot of sports athletes are freakin broke a couple of years after retirement. If money is everything for you, thats good you know. Whatever rocks your boat. You seem like you have it all. You must be a professional. When I mean by that is a doctor, lawyer, engineer. So I ask myself, why you arguing and wasting your time on a website?? Guess you have all the time in the world cause you are stacked!!
"Bench Taylor Mays on the passing downs, He needs to learn how to play the ball not the man." You sir,are a fucking idiot, if he were to play the ball in the scheme he is in,he would let Wr's get 200 yds rec a game,he cant play the ball when he's the true deep "safety",thats also why he never gets picks,he is always a true "safety",he can never take risks and chances on routes bc if he fucks up,there goes a TD.
im a fucking idiot. u sir, is fucking dumb ass. . When the ball is in the air as a safety u go after the ball. It seems that taylor mays always go for the huge hit on the man. he needs to jump and go for the int or bat it down when he plays single high safety like that. he always seems late on passes down the field. ND, Standford, Oregon st, and Oregon. I like taylor mays. All he needs to do is take the proper angle and get the ball at its highest point. Until then u need to put him the box.
Did you forget the "a"?,and why dont you know how to use a proper elipsis,
Taylor mays can NEVER Play the ball in the Defense he is in,and from what he is asked to do,he WILL NEVER PLAY THE BALL when he is the only deep safety, once again,if he FUCKS UP ie.(Misses a tackle, mis times his jump on a ball, reads the route wrong) he just let a 78 yd TD go right past him.
OK gym rat. You are a dumb ass and i already told you were one. Drop the roids and pick up a book. Pick up a good Oliver Stone novel. Besides, to be good or all time great free safety. You need ball hawking skills. I think he is a great tackler but his coverage skills needs to improve. He has 3 more games in his college carrier. If he does not change he is going to be a roy williams not Troy or a ed reed. How many int does he have in his college carrier 6. nuff said
gymrat hes not an Idiot he had one could play on the pass this year and that was against CAL. He maybe a good saftey but UCLA's Rahim Moore can play the ball better than him. He leads the nation in picks and is a true freshmen. Also, we play all the same teams you guys do. Except we had to go into Tennessee and beat them who almost went on to beat Alabama. Yes Ohio State was impressive but Taylor didn't do much. His draft stock definetly went down.
Ha ha ha! Pete, experience? tell that to Matt Cassel who you had sitting on his ass for 4 years. He seems to have done fine. You knew you needed him this year. Save your lecture for your private conversation with your players, don't ruin Marks Day.
Go to my channel if you want to see a real running back: Must see Running back, the future of Football a BEAST! Class 2010, trust me its worth ur time
Pete is a total asshole about Sanchez. Without Sanchez, Pete is nothing and he knows it. Mark is making more money in one year than Pete will make in his whole life! I'll root against USC everytime Pete is their coach. He should wish Mark luck, not shit on him!
I dont why the hell would pete carrol would talk shit and act stupid on mark sanchez behalf and try to make him look stupid and say that its terrible that hes leaving or hes doing somthing bad hes doing a great job with the jets its all about making the bigs bucks playing in the nfl playing pro fottball not being chained to college forever where he cant make serious money cant play with the best cant become a superstar if he wants to go pro early support pete stop trying to hold him down asshole
Tell me when the last time any of THESE teams won the SEC:
Vanderbilt
Mississippi State
Arkansas
South Carolina
Right now, the Pac-10 is the most competitive conference in the country. Oregon is in 1st, followed by Stanford and Arizona, with USC in 4th. Who would've thought that before the season started?
The SEC has 3 dominant teams; the rest are garbage.
UCLA walked into Tennesse's place and beat them........UCLA is 9th in the Pac-10. Hahahahaha.
I don't understand what your trying to say all i know is that sanchez wouldn't be the !st qb taken if he stayed his senior year and tebow would be probably 1st draft pick out of everyone
nah man. sanchez would be the first qb taken, unless he absolutely stunk. But we all know that wouldn't have happened. If sanchez had stayed, USC would probably win the NC.
totally agree with you baumusc if you think about it he actully did make a good decision 2 qb for sure are going to the draft next year tebow and coly maybe bradford that 4 qb total tebow would go frist bradford 2nd i think mark could beat out colt but he would get 3rd instead of knowing that he is only going to have to compete with one qb i think he made the right decision it may have cost my usc trojans nat title hopes or now even the rosebowl but thats the game fight on!!! good luck mark!
HaHa if you don't have Jake Locker on that list then your tripping. He will either be the first or second pick he is better at running and throwing then Colt McCoy and plays a pro style offense he is most likely the most talented quarterback in the draft.
Not even close to the first or second round pick. McCoy might be the most accurate passer in football (google when he throws a football to his receiver when the receiver is on a speeding boat and McCoy is on land). Locker hasn't proven himself like those other QBs in tougher conferences.
If you're talking about who has got the tools to be the best, which is all you can really do since you don't know how good anybody will be
HAHAHAHA are you fucking kidding me Snead and Mallett better then Locker!!! I know we aren't going to agree because I can already tell you are east coast bias because I've seen Sweed and he is no where near Jake Locker and then a random guy from Arkansas that HASN'T PLAYED ANYONE!!! Washington hasn't played anyone oh well only LSU, USC, and Notre Dame. WHO HAS OLE MISS AND ARKANSAS PLAYED? WHO? The Pac-10 is the second toughest conference the fact you called them weak proves your eastcoast bias
I'm the BIGGEST USC fan... but the SEC is the premier conference right now!... even though the pac 10 has more national championships in the NCAA in all sports... when it comes to football.. you can't really mess with the SEC right now..
I agree Standford is pretty good, but USC doesn't really play anyone. I mean, when Notre Dame almost beat them,I said....no top 5 for you again. Believe,it or not though I am a ND fan,but ND needs defensive line and offensive line work,so beating them should have been easy. Like I said PAC-10 = BS to me.
I see you've decided to nevermind the fact that what is apparently the fourth best team in the PAC10 is better than the apparent best team in the Big10 and beat them in their 110k seat house.
what are you talking about? USC =ass whooping by the best in the PAC-10. So,you reference to the State game is relevant because?Anyway,Carroll =bitch for complaining about Sanchez. ND is not that good,so them winning by a td is sad.
No disrespect to the SEC if you are an SEC fan but everyone praises them. UCLA went into Tennessee and beat them Tennessee went into Alabama and almost beat them so just don't disrespect the PAC-10 Oregon who can compete with anyone, Stanford an amazing team and Toby is one of the best NFL type running backs next to Mark Ingram out of Alabama. Im not a PAC-10 Fanboy but they have some good firepower
I am a ND fan and I can say that he ran all over them. I didn't disrespect Oregon. Oregon and Standford were USC must wins and they beat the shit out of them. Calm down. it's sad that Notre Dame competed better than them against Standford.
Sanchez was a very good college QB. Over rated in NFL

Mays needs to play and shutup hes an adult now.

difference between sanchez and russell. Sanchez has a brain. russell may of had an unbelievable talent but he never had the brain to be a young QB maybe in a few years hell be good but sanchez has truly impressed
derbz111 2 years ago

12 td's and 20 picks with a qb rating of 63 is not success the jets made the playoff because of defense and a strong running game not because of mark sanchez if anything he hurt the team in the regular season. im not saying he wont be a successful qb but having one good game and winning one playoff game does not make you successful
ryan28dp 2 years ago
What you talking about? We have the #1 rush offense because of the line and Sanchez. Teams that run the ball well and play great defense wins championships. Ravens did in 2000, Patriots in 2001. Bucs in 2004. Giants in 2007 look up the stats they don't lie.

themrschantz 2 years ago 17
@themrschantz no he isn't he relies soley on his defence and ground attack to get him anywhere look at all of his ints 2nd most by a rookie qb ever he needs a colour chart to know when to throw the ball. his team is successful he isnt. he was good at college he still has a way to go to be called successful in the pros
genisis2307 1 year ago
@themrschantz One good season for the Jets does not make Mark Sanchez a success. The Jets did well despite Mark Sanchez's short-comings, primarily due to their running game and their defense. The Jets certainly didn't ride into the AFC title game because of a QB with 2,444 yards passing, 12 TDs vs 20 INTS and a QB rating of 63.0. Give Mark Sanchez a few more years of mediocrity, and you will not be so high on him.

Are you kidding? Mark Sanchez had no part in taking the Jets to the playoffs, if anything he almost hurt their chances.
They're lucky the Colts and Bengals rolled over to allow them a chance at the playoffs. And even then Sanchez had no part in it, it was the running game and Defense that brought the team to the playoffs, anyone under center could've handed off the ball 40 times a game.

thomasuras 2 years ago
Yep, sucks as a Coach. 2 National Championships, and 7 Pac10 crowns in 8 years. Damn it hurts to suck.
jrt31169 2 years ago
you gotta read my post kid i said he sucks as a coach but all pro bull shiter , its recuting that makes collage teams good ,that's why hes not an NFL coach . Until they have a true play off system and the schools pick 1/2 their opponent's collage football is just for funsies
thomasuras 2 years ago
Interesting because I find the NFL to be the funsies just as much. They are already paid, why do they really need to go all out. The NFL is a waste of FOOTBALL and funds.
and the facts don't support your "sucks as a coach." let's put it this way, Karl Dorrell was fired from UCLA because he couldn't win, but put him in the NFL and hey he's fine. What does that say about the quality of coaches in the NFL?
basically comes down to coaching players vs. running an allstar team.
jrt31169 2 years ago
As a USC fan I was pissed too when Sanchez left early for the NFL. And look how it has worked out for him on the Jets. He has one of the lowest passer ratings in the NFL. He would have been alot better served if he had stayed for another year.
Kobeforever211 2 years ago

thomasuras 2 years ago
With your barrage of comments you must really hate Pete Carroll. UCLA fan? Or do you have other reasons to hate him?
As a response to all of your glorious comments, Sam Bradford stayed for his senior year, got injured and will still be making a crap ton of money in the NFL. Almost every FB player will be injured at some point whether in college or the NFL. The injury doesn't define the success in the NFL, the player defines that success.

LosFace55 2 years ago
You need to reed your post u contradict yourself moron.you said "Injuries happens in alot of sport. Its called taking risks in life." then said "If he would have returned it would have been better for him ITS never better to take zero dollars for a 30 million plus guaranteed singing bonus over a choice of getting hurt and getting nothing
thomasuras 2 years ago
And you obviously need to read my post carefully. You are only looking at the money figures in sports because of the guaranteed. What I meant for Sanchez returning for his senior year would have been better because it would have PREPARED him better!!!!!!!!!!! Typical toothless SEC fan that doesnt understand. No wonder Jamarcus Russell comes from that conference. Got his guaranteed money and is an absolute joke. Oh by the way he was an underclassman. Do you see the trend?
LosFace55 2 years ago

4 great ways to fix usc this year.
1) tell caroll to stick to f**ken coaching the defense and stop interfering with jerry bates play calling.
2) Fire or demote Rocky seto. He has been horrible has d coordinator. There is so many times u can run a single high safety during a game.
3) Recuit better linebacker and new DT. The linebackers always seem to take bad angles and DT is just ????
4) Bench Taylor Mays on passing downs. He needs to learn how to play the ball not the man.
tuionop 2 years ago
"Bench Taylor Mays on the passing downs, He needs to learn how to play the ball not the man." You sir,are a fucking idiot, if he were to play the ball in the scheme he is in,he would let Wr's get 200 yds rec a game,he cant play the ball when he's the true deep "safety",thats also why he never gets picks,he is always a true "safety",he can never take risks and chances on routes bc if he fucks up,there goes a TD.
gymrat2005 2 years ago
im a fucking idiot. u sir, is fucking dumb ass. Until then u need to put him the box.
tuionop 2 years ago
Your still not getting the point,
Now to prove my point as to why your an idiot
"u sir,is fucking dumb ass. . "
Did you forget the "a"?,and why dont you know how to use a proper elipsis,
Taylor mays can NEVER Play the ball in the Defense he is in,and from what he is asked to do,he WILL NEVER PLAY THE BALL when he is the only deep safety, once again,if he FUCKS UP ie.(Misses a tackle, mis times his jump on a ball, reads the route wrong) he just let a 78 yd TD go right past him.
gymrat2005 2 years ago

Pac 10 is a joke, USC plus a few other remote teams....SEC is the best division in all elements of football from defense to offense
GetCarter08 2 years ago
Tell me when the last time any of THESE teams won the SEC:
Vanderbilt
Mississippi State
Arkansas
South Carolina
Right now, the Pac-10 is the most competitive conference in the country. Oregon is in 1st, followed by Stanford and Arizona, with USC in 4th. Who would've thought that before the season started?
The SEC has 3 dominant teams; the rest are garbage.
UCLA walked into Tennesse's place and beat them........UCLA is 9th in the Pac-10. Hahahahaha.
The SEC is great, but overrated.

totally agree with you baumusc if you think about it he actully did make a good decision 2 qb for sure are going to the draft next year tebow and coly maybe bradford that 4 qb total tebow would go frist bradford 2nd i think mark could beat out colt but he would get 3rd instead of knowing that he is only going to have to compete with one qb i think he made the right decision it may have cost my usc trojans nat title hopes or now even the rosebowl but thats the game fight on!!! good luck mark!
IRISHMOBSTER55 2 years ago
Tebow will not be one of the first QBs taken. Be serious, his passing game is highly questionable.
Bradford, McCoy, Snead, Mallett, Case will all go before Tebow.
But Tebow will make a good FB
bjwill254 2 years ago
HaHa if you don't have Jake Locker on that list then your tripping. He will either be the first or second pick he is better at running and throwing then Colt McCoy and plays a pro style offense he is most likely the most talented quarterback in the draft.
LeeTheG6 2 years ago
Not even close to the first or second round pick. McCoy might be the most accurate passer in football (google when he throws a football to his receiver when the receiver is on a speeding boat and McCoy is on land). Locker hasn't proven himself like those other QBs in tougher conferences.
If you're talking about who has got the tools to be the best, which is all you can really do since you don't know how good anybody will be
I'd go with Mallett or Snead
bjwill254 2 years ago
LeeTheG6 2 years ago
Pac-10 second toughest? LOL
Cal isn't anything. They lost their only two real games.
Oregon beat a ranked Utah, that really shouldn't be ranked .. they play NOBODY
UCLA .. lost to Stanford, c'mon
Stanford hasn't proven anything .. they beat a ranked Washington that hasn't won since the upset.
USC is all you got.
And you talk about Arkansas.. They have to play Georgia, Alabama, Texas A&M, Auburn, Florida, and Ole Miss .. in a row
then South Carolina and LSU.
SEC DOMINATES
bjwill254 2 years ago
I'm the BIGGEST USC fan... but the SEC is the premier conference right now!... even though the pac 10 has more national championships in the NCAA in all sports... when it comes to football.. you can't really mess with the SEC right now..
xslashgnrx3 2 years ago 2
I agree Standford is pretty good, but USC doesn't really play anyone. I mean, when Notre Dame almost beat them,I said....no top 5 for you again. Believe,it or not though I am a ND fan,but ND needs defensive line and offensive line work,so beating them should have been easy. Like I said PAC-10 = BS to me.
lovepeacenappiness23 2 years ago
I see you've decided to nevermind the fact that what is apparently the fourth best team in the PAC10 is better than the apparent best team in the Big10 and beat them in their 110k seat house.
justinwilliams526 2 years ago
what are you talking about? USC =ass whooping by the best in the PAC-10. So,you reference to the State game is relevant because?Anyway,Carroll =bitch for complaining about Sanchez. ND is not that good,so them winning by a td is sad.
lovepeacenappiness23 2 years ago
No disrespect to the SEC if you are an SEC fan but everyone praises them. UCLA went into Tennessee and beat them Tennessee went into Alabama and almost beat them so just don't disrespect the PAC-10 Oregon who can compete with anyone, Stanford an amazing team and Toby is one of the best NFL type running backs next to Mark Ingram out of Alabama. Im not a PAC-10 Fanboy but they have some good firepower
youngBUCKLIN99 2 years ago
I am a ND fan and I can say that he ran all over them. I didn't disrespect Oregon. Oregon and Standford were USC must wins and they beat the shit out of them. Calm down. it's sad that Notre Dame competed better than them against Standford.
