If I manage to get the arm trapped like this, I'm going for the north/south arm triangle or walking it around for the d'arce. Didn't think about this armbar though, but seems like it would be harder to control your opponent than if you go for a head and arm choke. I'll have to try it out

Check out the book "Yawara, The Ancient Japanese Martial Art of Jujitsu". It has a full chapter on the origin of 7 distinct lineage of Jujitsu, in which 3 are originated in Chinese Shuaijiao and Qinna schools. There are traditionalist San Soo fighters who seem to think they rule the world but refuse to expand their knowledge to ground fighting. I'm not saying become a grappler or even grappling, but rather to implement it into the art or AT LEAST identify it as a threat, henceforth the dumbshits getting slaughtered. Hey I'm not doubting that you can fight better than most people, I'm just saying that winning a few fights in a international circuit that most people haven't heard of doesn't seem fitting for the title of a world vale tudo champion. Also, I'm not an actual practitioner, I'm just a spectator, but my skepticism with the stand up moves comes from seeing kung fu practitioners get killed.

As far as knees go you are right but by the time I sit and lean back I think I can bust the oppon arm before he knees me. But nothing is impossible. Take me on my offer though if you are close by.

When walking around the opponent, how are you going to protect your head from his knees? You either have to take shots to the head or let go of him with one of your arms. And I'm not authority on this, but couldn't the guy in the bottom put the guy on top in an arm triangle choke as soon as he moves his arm across?
