Beautiful!!! What kind of hair is that? How long is your hair underneath? I tried something like this, but the style ended up looking thick and very frizzy.. maybe because my hair is natural and medium length.

the hair is called kankelon hair but not sure of the rband because the shop provided the hair and my hair was very short at this time...about 2-3 inches only because I just did my BC when I wore the twists.

They used the Kankelon hair which is synthetic fibers. I didn't care for it too much b/c it was kinda stiff but it last longer than human hair...and yes the ends were curled with perm (cold) rods and hot water. BTW- I will try to crank out that 20's inspired style/ tutorial for you this wk.

Girl, those are the basics (well for me they are)...stick around- I like to have fun & be creative with my braids. Far too often ladies feel like a ponytail is the only style u can rock with braids...nope- I am a believer of the complete opposite. Thanks:)

I been going to this place called Rama's in Philly and I been going there for years so they know my hair. I only been to one other shop and that was for an emergency only...I don't like switching up my braiders. Are you in Philly?
