Tennis, soccer, baseball all allow kids to be drafter and/or turn pro out of or while still in HS if their said abilities merit.
Even overseas kids like Ricky Rubio can go pro if they are good enough to compete at that level. David Stern is on some CFR Societal economic control of (mostly) young black men keeping the League institutionalized via the NCAA.
82% of NBA players are black, David Stern wants to simply raise the level of competition in the NBA. Fans don't want to see these garbage kids who don't know how to play with the best. Stern instituted the rule because most kids who think they are good enough to come out of High school are garbage. are you kidding me? john wall is so much better than lance! john has 10x better athleticism, is twice as quick and a much better passer than lance. lance only has a better jumpshot than john that's the only edge! plus john is moves more fluid which is a good for a point guard whereas lance overpowers people like a foward. also john continues to improve while lance has stayed the same for the past two years stat wise and skill wise.
