Most of our work on the interstate is done at night. There are some exceptions, however. For instance, striping is done during the day for safety reasons; Striping is usually performed extremely close to the adjacent travel lane. Night work, with all the drunks, makes striping much more dangerous than, for instance, a typical resurfacing or concrete repair project.
Having said that, most of our work where there are lane closures, take place at night.

why does texas still do construction during the day?????????? California and Arizona do it at night using bright lights.
