this is what i was taught dont break your knees til ur arms are out and body is as far as u can go. idk how u are at catch but it seems like u can go a bit farther up. but finish looks good :)
From now , my row form is totally different from this video as i had take a look on my form by taking a short video. i say think you to yr last sentence.
if you have some seperation, ( I dont mean lack of fluidity, but sequential usage of power) you can better "hang on it" to utilize more quad muscle and less weaker arm/back muscle. Just make sure you arent swinging back too early.
Your stroke lacks seperation..Ive been rowing for two years and suggest that you dont bring your knees up the slide until your hands are past your knees.
yea your right about that your stroke looks pretty good just get those hands out before you move up the slide. I try to make the intergration of using the arms and back with the legs as fluid as possible it shouldnt look jerky good job on that
Hey Man, that's great. The only thing I could suggest would be to hold the legs down a bit longer while you swing the back forword. I hung with xeno at a coaching clinich on sat. and that was the advice he gave me. Staying relaxed in the sholdures. Hinging at the hip join. Allowing the legs and body to extend before steady rise of the knees.

Big thing is quick hands at the finish. Once I started remembering that my splits dropped by like 15.

@Bradiatindi you might be using your arms to much, try using your legs alot more than arms

I've change my form and body movement. it is totally different now. so tips that can help is "pull back with relaxed shoulders"
and delay swinging back

i find that stroke should lack seperation. so that the boat can be faster
