Look at these brave people. The whole world should rally around them. They give me hope. They defy every stereotype fed to us by the mainstream media. They are Egyptians together, Muslim--and Christian. They are rich and poor, young and old, and they want what we all want, to have decent jobs and housing, and to be able to express a political opinion without the police coming in the middle of the night. I am moved to tears by the crowd using prayer as a form of non-violent protest. Bravo!
