It was interesting to hear this guy's analysis of McCain's obvious foreign polity bona fides, specifically re: Russia. The ultimate conclusion would be correct, except for this recent financial crisis.

If the bailout "works," the markets rebound, and something happens to put national security at the fore of the public consciousness, McCain can rebound. As it is, recent events have turned the public's attention to the economy, which is (quite wrongly) perceived to be Obama's strength.

Unfortunately his advisor, Randy Scheunemann has been a paid lobbyist for Georgia and has probably tainted McCain's viewpoint on the whole region.
