wait, why do we need to get film out of the canister? don't we just hand it to the people who develop the film and they'll take care of it? sorry I haven't use film for a very long time and I remembered i used to throw the film in the paper bag and they take care of it lol.
....incase you need to switch film...such as ISO, Slide, B/W, color print.... or if you need your camera for work and need to swap the family roll with a roll for work.
One last thing: Whagoodmyngo: Your method should be done in low light or darkness.... the transparentness of the film can act like optic fiber, channelling light into the film cassette.
I have a real film picker, I made film puller from: biz card, soda can, plastic bottle, old Cred cards, 2side sticky tape.
I usually lick the end of the film to make it sticky to retrieve the unexposed film instead of the tape. I want to try this but lately I'm addicted to the taste of film. LOL

When you go to a place to despose the film are you going to need to have that little part showing so they can despose it?
TheChristianEwing 2 months ago
@TheChristianEwing
No, they have a tool at the lab to pull the film out, or open the canister.

@warlock110 Well if you want to do double exposure, this would come in handy, and you do this when you want to expose the film lol, not to develop
