  • Brilliant - decided to check you out after you were mentioned on the BBC website in that article about guitar bands. Loved the Alice in Wonderland metaphor for a woman's escape from a loveless. 50s style marriage and alcoholic husband through drug taking (never thought about the whole potions thing in Alice before), and the use of the washing machine to symbolise unrelenting domesticity was inspired. I particularly enjoyed the contrast of the footballers against the husband.

  • @jarvxxx Hello, Crookes here! You can purchase Bloodshot Days as a download from Itunes along with our single Bside Through The Cats Whisker. Bricks and Slaughter which was played for the first time on Radio6 has not been formally recorded and cannot be found anywhere other than that session! We have plans to record it though and will let you know when it arrives! xx
