Michael only changed him name to "mykal" because that is how you spell it in Ethiopia. Original name Michael Rose just check his 2001 album "Michael rows the boat ashore" with sly and robbie it was Mykall, Other spellings found on certain releases include 'Mykal Roze', 'Mikal Rose', 'Michael Roze' and so forth. This may have caused difficulty in tracking down releases. Trust de dread I just had dinner with him last night in Auckland, New Zealand.

Since I live in a country little more developed (politically and economically) than Jamaica, I think I understand why he give up. All Jamaicans need to do more for them self.

I remember having a CD with this song in much more roots style. There was even a line that is missing here "...from the words you speak. There's something left floating in the air.
