We truly are living in the last days the bible warns us that it would be as in the days of Noah and worse then in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah read it in the bible and yes GOD did give all humans a choice to serve him his way or the devil and his angles and this woman is just like Eve who was tricked by the father of lies the devil himself and you should have nothing to do with her or her teaching the bible warns about wolfs in sheep's clothing and she and Benny Hinn are a perfect example .
"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak: but they are commanded under obedience, as also says the law, and if they will learn, let them ask their husbands at home, for it is a shame for women to speak in the church." (I Corinthians 14:34-35).

I bet a MAN wrote I Corinthians 14:34-35. You're silly for thinking that passage is worthy of your attention. Women were thought of as less than back in biblical times, when the MEN thought all the qualities for Nascent life were in the semen. THink about it.
Mojo,Men worte all of the books in the bible.but they were inspired by God.I a not debating with you,I only wrote a verse from the Bible.which is God's inspired Word.why don't u take ur fight 2 Him.We can't pick n choose what we want 2 obey in the bible. We are no longer Christians when we do that.b'Coz even d heathen follow part of d Bible.Women r given a role to play,as are men.One is not greater than d other, that's only satan's propoganda 2make us think that way.We only need to trust and obey.

I love the way Pastor Johnson be preaching she pass like the black militants of the 60's & 70's. She's not anti-white or anti-hetero. she is just pro equality, liberty, and justice.
I'm so glad to see an African American person that remembers their struggles and one that can see there is no differentiation between a gays struggle for marriage and a blacks right to vote. It was all discrimination in the end.
The interracial marriage law is the fundamental right upon which gay marriage was found to be legal, which is what justice is all about. If you are a sort of person who decides issues regarding justice based on a book which itself is a history book written by the ones with privilege and a political agenda to oppress, I feel sorry for you. I am a mainstream person who has had to learn it is a much worse crime against God to justify hate than it is to love thy neighbor as thyself.
"Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, Malay and red, and He placed them on separate continents. And but for the interference with His arrangement there would be no cause for such marriages. The fact that He separated the races shows that He did not intend for the races to mix." If you think that's offensive, how could you vote yes on 8
You should read some of Christopher Hitchens' work. He makes some strong points about how nearly every major war has been caused and driven solely by religion.
Sorry about my angry outburst...it's so frustrating to me that people actually want to take civil rights away from ANYONE. Who is next? Stop the MADNESS!!!
My biggest pet peeve about this issue is how nearly everyone in supprt of banning gay marriage takes a religious standpoint. THIS IS THE UNITED STATES OF FUCKING AMERICA. THERE IS NO, I REPEAT, NO SET RELIGION. IT'S CALLED THE FIRST AMMENDMENT BONEHEADS. YOU CAN'T PUSH YOUR RELIGIOUS VIEWS UPON THE ENTIRE COUNTRY. IT'S UNCONSTITUTIONAL. THIS ISN'T ABOUT RELIGION, IT'S ABOUT LAWS. TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS.
Romans 1:26-27 ...For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another...
This country was founded by Godly men who followed the lord's commands. And God's word clearly states in both the new and old testaments(Leviticus 18) that same sex is wrong.
The question is, do we follow man's law, which is said to lead to death, or God's?
so if you believe in that..then don't marry someone of the same sex. If someone else does that, does it change your beliefs or behaviour? No. It's freedom of choice, here. God gave people the freedom to choose. It's MAN that is taking that right away with yes on 8.
I've read Leviticus too. There are lots of things it says to do and not do that even very religious Christians ignore completely. Why do fundamentalists focus on those very few lines?
seriously? are you Jewish? because this is old law scriptures and the abomination in which they speak of is really rather from the context of it was considered sinful to not breed as much as possible.
Stoning women for cheating on men as well other absurd directions as well but most of them are against the law but you are not trying to turn those laws back?
I just love Rev. D. She is one of the most informed and deepest thinkers I've ever known. I highly recommend her to all people seeking to focus on change in their lives

Horrible arguement SouthernGent. Very typical of religious people. Don't avoid the issue at hand with a book that misrepresents a loving God.

didn't Jesus's death release us from the law? thats why I can eat meat on fridays.
LazuliteHalcyon 3 years ago 5
There's no Biblical law about meat on Fridays. The Catholic Church made that up.

So true. The current situation is quite analogous to interracial marriages back in the day. I'm glad other people also see the connection.
