People are saying there never was a sequel (game or book) but in a way the story got told a bit later in the books... jahzara gets mentioned... and the bad guy shows up later in other books also.. for he is Leso Varen (among others).

Anyway.. it way, this was a great roleplaying game even if it wasn't as massive as BoK!

It was such a brilliant game and novel, and the music is inspiring ~

lol i loved this game as a kid until my brother bit through the disc (yup he was high that day) however later on in my life i found this game for sale

sadly i bought it, and realized how terrible it was..

i guess in many ways revolutionary, lockpicking...

but its really a dull convoluted story, with lame characters.

this game was one of my fondest memories of pc games around that time, I enjoyed it so much, I love RPG/Adventure and the story basis, graphics, voice and music all blew me away, not to mention some parts were tricky. I wish i still had my copy it's a definite classic.

It's such a shame you never know what happens after you finish the game because no book nor sequel game had ever been made. Sucks..They could make a great game if they made one nowadays

I loved the intro music. THe preists singing. Always thought this intro was real messed up, how that one pirate chopped at the other guys neck three times.

The demon he is referring to is the one in the later chapters in Krondor. Simply guard Jazhara with James and pluck away at the demon. The mage in the back is of little concern as 99% of the time he is slow-casting. Only hit him if the spell he is about to cast permits it. Hope that helps! If not, PM me.

I just got a huge urge to go get an eBay account right now. I beat the predecessor of this game, I hope that this one is at least 1/2 as good as Betrayal. I also hope that it also takes place in midkemia and surrounding areas. (particularly Timirianya)

It's definitely worth it. If you are curious about Return to Krondor, I just posted a 10 minute long gameplay video to give you the feel of the game. It's worth tracking down and playing through, at least once.

This game was really underrated. It was no Betrayal but it was still a solid game. Unfortunatley there isn't even a sequel for the books. :(

This is the best cRPG game for me. I finished it about 5-6 times already and it's still playable and very enjoyable. And it's a shame that nobody decided to make a sequel... :-(

Mmmm. Return to Krondor was the first computer rpg. At first(for a half an hour or sumthing) I didn't like the game. I didn't know how move around in the city. But very soon me and my brother almost began addicts! Rtk is very like the best rpg ever. Gothic II comes pretty close anyway. Damn that I can't get Gothic I.

It was far from the first PC RPG, but it was never the less a good but underrated game. Everyone seems to demand sandbox play in RPGs these days, I liked RtKs storydriven aspect.
