I think that the majority of anti-whaling people are not against Japan or Japanese people, but while Norway and Iceland unless hunt around their countries only Japan go all the way to New Zealand and than Antartica to kill whales, probably that is why Japan is under the protest all the time. Hunt whale in Antartica (regardless of purpose and nationality of hunters) is ILLEGAL and that is a UNITED NATION LAW !

As a keen student and lover of the sea and all its inhabitants I like nothing better than seeing a big fish like a whale doing tricks in an acquarium. But I think most will agree with me when I say that Whales are some times funny to watch they serve no real purpose in the ecological chain of life. If they become extict no one will really care.
