This video actually had nothing to do with me as I was called up by the leading Christchurch Earthquake page "rise up christchurch" asking me if they could use my song as the their song. Have a think about this\. Every other person in the NZ, neigh the WORLD would watch this clip and see it as a positive message of hope. I just wanted to defend the 'dislikers' against accusations of being disloyal to Chch when in fact they were disliking the song and the songwriter. As for "I cant believe there are people out there who think that they actually have a right to put negative comments..." - it's called freedom of speech and it's a pretty firm basis for a functioning democracy. But I do agree that 'needless negativity' doesn't help. My apologies.

i can not describe the terror this earthquake has inflicted upon our city.

my school has lost their chapel, gym, music room and library.

when the earthquake hit i was in a glass building with many other students.

others were dodging falling lockers as they tumbled like dominos. there was one saying that kept us going..

"if you can't be by someones side, be in their hearts..."

It is more commonly known as the song that is hoping to become the Anthem for the 2011 Rugby World Cup/and for the All Blacks. Frank was born in Auckland, New Zealand. It is so lovely to see it used as the song for "Rise Up Christchurch" as it is very fitting. Kia kaha
