buddy, bahramji is Afghani and the language you hear is Dari. Afghans sing a lot of persian (farsi) songs and thats because our languages are very similar
@satplate2 i think you are right! i did a bit of research on wiki and found out his origin and place of birth! apparently he was born in the kurdish territory and then he moved to India with his fam, and now hes decomposing sick beats in Europe
I dont hear any Hindi here or Urdu, besides "Mast Qalandar", which is more related with Urdu or Persian, but used in Hindi too. "Mast Qalandar" means a person who is happy in himself, or used by sufis as a person who has less ties with the world but happy with God.
The only Punjabi I hear is the female chorus, and its definitely not hindi, or urdu.
yes of course Ordu and to be more precise, few words are the typical persian classical words which entered Indian culture long time ago. like MAST E GHALANDAR...is a poular quote of Darvishes that the wisper. you can also reffer to Nusrat fatteh alikhan .. he has a sufi background as well.
Bahramji is from north Iran !!!
He is Kurdish !!!
He sings i Farsi !!!
And the other voice on the track is
a Rajistani Vocal sample !!!!
I know This for sure because i made the music, and have made the last 3 CD's with
Bahramji !!!!
Love 2 u All from Mashti ;-)
