  • Sega saturn wins automatically because its boss :) ... what i do just to go back to play this game again

  • >??? ok thats point less if you dont have the skill to do it properly dont do it at all..? I would be better to have played them separately might as well since you have that tiny screen to the left?? WHATS THE POINT?? OHH yea not to mention your videos at 240p ..???? Wow dumb dumb dumb

  • why is the fmv in the small window cropped? you can see portions of the top and bottom of the picture is missing...

  • Wow you can't do a comparison vid to save your life man!

  • ,,,the in-game FMV's for the Story do this as well, or just the intro?

  • Yuji Naka game ^^

  • You do realise that you are comparing pre-rendered video?

  • @layzergun Who is?

  • @layzergun Who is?

  • @Maresuke YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU [/souljahboi]

  • @Maresuke You. Those are prerendered introductory cinematics. Most likely, the saturn version didn't properly synch audio, much like any system of the time. Even the PSX never properly synched audio and video, and that system has the most FMV whoring of that gen.

  • PS2 version is brilliant color. But frame rate is 30 per a second so it's same SATURN version. I want to hope 60 per a second of frame rate.

  • SATURN > PLASTATION 2

  • get a goddamned capture card before you post 'comparisons', its too blurry to tell using such an idiotic method as a camera in the dark.

  • This is a not a really good comparison....

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't you play this on an american ps2 if you have gameshark?

  • Oh woah! That is a HUGE difference! At first I thought the music was played at the same time, and I was all, "Oh well it's not that bad..." But when you DiD play the music in unison, I was like, "WOAH!" That is a ginormous difference.

  • a gameplay comparison wold be more usefull uh?

  • yes but sadly, I no longer have the PS2 version since I've moved. Sorry.

I can tell you its not much different at all. It's worth the trouble to import it just to play it.

  • First of all, where did you move from? I'm under the impression that you are Japanese. Second of all, it's sad for anyone to lose a favourite game when you had to go. Trust me, I'm still looking for my MYST PC CD-ROM game and I think a neighbour has it all the time.

  • I'm not sure but I'm guessing the pack has extra stuff with it and not just the game, perhaps the picture book...?

  • That is bothersome.

I am thinking of getting the PS2 version since I have a J one. I just wonder if they still have the special Sonic into dreams on it. I know they have christmas nights :o

  • No. There is no Sonic into Dreams or 2 player mode. But there is summer time outfits and Halloween outfits... I forget what else they've added.

  • That sucks. My Nights for Saturn doesn't work anymore, and I can't afford to buy Christmas and Nights :/ Hmm.. Oh well. Thank you for letting me know before I went out and got sad.

    Sonic is great stuff :)

  • You could get a rom and an emulator. The problem with that is, all the Sega Saturn emulators out there don't make any sense..., which is why I'm looking into this PS2 version to be honest.

  • I managed to find a cheap copy of NiGHTS complete in a game store surprisingly :o good condition also, and tracked down Christmas Nights for a decent price on ebay.

I don't know how PS2 modding goes, but perhaps that would work well, since I don't know if a PS2 emulator would even work smooth at all o.o

  • I don't mean a PS2 emulator. I don't have a Sega Saturn, so I was trying to find an emulator for it that works. I couldn't though, so I was thinking of getting the actual PS2 version so I could play it on my PS3 or something.

  • I was thinking of that too, but I guess I prefer the older Saturn graphics and feel XD. Atleast wit the PS2 version you wouldn't need to worry about save files (I don't have a saturn card).

    You have a japanese PS3?

  • No. Was this game only released in Japan?

  • yep, Japan only.

You could get a Japanese PS2 for a decent price off ebay. I did that so I could play KH FM

  • Saturn saves to the battery, bro

  • You certainly never tryed SSF.

  • What's SSF?

  • Its an awsome Sega Saturn emulator for pc.

You said " all the Sega Saturn emulators out there don't make any sense"

Try SSF, you´ll change your mind.

  • there is a sonic into dreams present for the xmas nights

  • your videos are great hun i hope to get this ps2 one too

  • Well, actually it was my roommate's copy. I hope to get it sometime soon too. I have the slide tool still.

  • SEGA was the Best period.

  • 'SEGA was the Best period.'

i'd give that TEN thumbs up if i could... FUCK SONY

  • but without sony, sega wouldnt be able to lie about the playstation to sell their games

  • wtf are you on about?

  • yes i can see the diffrents i know the game off by heart

  • I hope you enjoy my other videos then... like Wizeman.

  • WOW i have both and never saw that differens

  • OMG... NO waaaay!!! lol I had to sorry

I didn't even notice this until you presented it. Spot on.

  • I've wasted too many years of my life on this game to not miss it. Ha ha. Maybe I should do more...

  • Please do :D

  • I Never Really Saw That Before.....hmmmmmm..... Your Right! They Could Have Gone The Extra Mile!
