@breedencm yes I did get it and it's good. Keeps the slim profile of thewith Tab. I don't take pictures with my Tab 10.1 so that wasn't a deal breaker. The only thing that I don't like is the magnetic flap doesn't attach magnetically to the back when it's open. Not a huge deal. If you have the Tab 10.1, this is the best case out. Btw, do you know if you can change your YouTube user name?

Well no this is the only case I can see that the camera is inoperable when the tablet is in use. And I have looked at hundreds on the internet for a tablet I am purchasing for my partner for Xmas.

The rear Camera is totaly useless when the case is open. Yes there is a cut out for the camera but how do you use the camera with the case closed . This is a big big fault .

Its like they only think about the camera hole its self, but not the case being folded as if it was in use.

why do they have a hole for the camera when u cant even take picture when its closed..also when its open for that matter..unless u hold up the flap up that is covering the camera

The only problem I have with this case is that when you had it down on the table, using the typing mode, your Tab will be positioned upside down... and some windows inside android does not support this rotation. I had a few video players and a few input windows showing upside down in the wrong orientation :p

I am getting this case. But it seems like poor design choices for the cutouts. If propped up the webcam is on the bottom. There is a cutout for the camera, but if you open the case you block the camera. How can you take a picture with the case closed???

@MegaCheesemaster123 I am not concerned about taking pictures with my tab, just thought it was odd they would have a cutout for the camera, but not realize, when the case is open you block the camera. Honestly is seems like all the cases are like that. I have one of the Belkin folio cases, and it does the same thing. I like the official Samsung case because of the slim profile, doesnt totally hide the beauty of the Tab, and the cover locks in place when open...thanks for the review bud....

@MegaCheesemaster123 Not true. You can still take a picture, you just have to make sure that the flap doesn't cover the camera hole.

@BLUDUVASLAVE I bought it and waiting for it to get here, but the camera cutout is just stupid if you ask me. They needed to switch the orientation round, so that the camera was where the flap comes over rather than where it is right now. In fairness, I haven't used the back camera on any tablet I have owned so its not a big deal for me, but just an obvious issue Im surprised samsung didnt pick up on.

Perhaps they should've designed it so that the flap would cover the camera hole when closed (which also gives room to take pictures when open), and have it so the charger connector had a hole so that you could charge while closed. Did you end up getting one? How do you like it?
